Atlanta Falcons TE Hayden Hurst did not have a catch on two targets in Week 11 against the New Orleans Saints.

Footballguys view: Hurst has been a fantasy disaster any time Julio Jones is out. You couldn't have known that Jones was going to hurt his hamstring today, but if Jones is out against the Raiders next week, you were warned.

Atlanta Falcons TE Hayden Hurst logged five receptions (on seven targets) for 54 yards in a Week 8 victory over the Carolina Panthers.

Falcons | Six receptions for Hayden Hurst    Sun Oct 25, 05:59 PM

Atlanta Falcons TE Hayden Hurst went for a season-high six receptions while ending up with 68 yards on seven targets in Week 7 against the Detroit Lions.

Footballguys view: Hurst was involved throughout in his most encouraging game of the season for the prospect of lasting value. He should be in lineups as a boom/bust TE1 against the Panthers on Thursday.

Falcons | Hayden Hurst finds end zone    Sun Oct 18, 05:59 PM

Atlanta Falcons TE Hayden Hurst caught four passes for 57 yards and one touchdown against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 6. He was targeted four times during the game.

Footballguys view: Hurst's touchdown, which accounted for the majority of his yards, came in garbage time, so it wasn't exactly a redemption game for him in fantasy football even though the result was good. We'll keep him in lineups next week if we don't have a better option.

Falcons | Hayden Hurst scores in Week 3    Sun Sep 27, 06:40 PM

Atlanta Falcons TE Hayden Hurst posted a one-yard touchdown catch on three targets in Week 3 against the Chicago Bears.

Footballguys view: Hurst was set up for a big game with Julio Jones out and then Russell Gage left with a concussion. He didn't do anything after an early score. He'll be a boom/bust option against Green Bay on Monday night and might be better off with Jones and Gage out there to keep defenses guessing.

Falcons | Hayden Hurst to be busy    Fri Aug 21, 09:18 PM

Atlanta Falcons TE Hayden Hurst will be an 'every-down tight end' this season, according to Kelsey Conway of AtlantaFalcons.com.

Footballguys view: This was expected and probably already priced into his somewhat optimistic ADP, but Hurst can still vastly outproduce his pricetag by getting a similar opportunity to what Austin Hooper got last year. Hurst is a fine plan A as a mid-round TE1, but take your favorite late round option as a fallback in case Hurst disappoints.

Falcons | Hayden Hurst relishing opportunity    Fri Jul 24, 01:49 PM

Atlanta Falcons TE Hayden Hurst was excited for the March trade to Atlanta as he sought a chance to become a featured tight end.

Footballguys view: Austin Hooper turned this role into the fantasy TE1 for a stretch last year. Hurst could add more value after the catch and quickly turn into Matt Ryan's favorite target when he can't get the ball to Julio Jones or Calvin Ridley. Hurst is a solid draft target outside of the top 10 tight ends who can still finish well within the top 10 if he stays healthy.

Falcons | Hayden Hurst impressing new QB    Tue Jun 9, 03:09 PM

Atlanta Falcons TE Hayden Hurst was called the 'fastest and most athletic tight end' QB Matt Ryan has 'ever played with.'

Footballguys view: Hurst was a first-round pick with the Ravens a couple of years ago but he was outplayed by Mark Andrews and shipped off to the Falcons earlier this year. He's an athletic tight end who can get open down the deep middle seam. From an athletic profile, he's an improvement from last year's starter Austin Hooper. With Hooper moving on in free agency, the Falcons were prompted to add Hurst. He could be a top-10 fantasy tight end in 2020. His current ADP is TE10 (9.03) in 12-team PPR leagues.

Falcons | Hayden Hurst working out with QB    Wed May 20, 03:15 PM

Atlanta Falcons TE Hayden Hurst said he has been traveling to Atlanta over the past four weeks in order to work out with QB Matt Ryan.

Footballguys view: A former first-round pick of the Ravens, Hurst was never able to play up to his potential in Baltimore. He now gets a fresh start, while still having first-round tools, with the Falcons. Hurst said the workouts are improving his chemistry with Ryan and it will pay off during training camp.

Falcons | Hayden Hurst officially acquired by Atlanta    Wed Mar 18, 04:16 PM

Baltimore Ravens TE Hayden Hurst was officially acquired by the Atlanta Falcons Wednesday, March 18, in exchange for a second-round draft choice and a fifth-round draft choice. The Falcons will also receive a fourth-round draft choice in the trade.

Footballguys view: The Falcons take a chance on the former first-round pick as their replacement for Austin Hooper who moved on in free agency to the Browns. Hurst has the talent but he needs to stay healthy and start playing up to that potential.

Ravens | Baltimore sends Hayden Hurst to Atlanta    Mon Mar 16, 02:28 PM

Baltimore Ravens TE Hayden Hurst and a 2020 fourth-round draft pick were traded to the Atlanta Falcons in exchange for a 2020 second-round pick and a 2020 fifth-round pick on Monday, March 16.

Footballguys view: Hurst was a first-round pick just a few years ago but he was overshadowed by Mark Andrews at the tight end position. The Ravens move on but it won't impact their offense that much.

Falcons | Atlanta acquires Hayden Hurst    Mon Mar 16, 02:24 PM

Baltimore Ravens TE Hayden Hurst and a 2020 fourth-round draft pick were traded to the Atlanta Falcons in exchange for a 2020 second-round pick and a 2020 fifth-round pick.

Footballguys view: The Falcons lost Austin Hooper in free agency to the Browns, but they were unable and unwilling to pay his price tag. Instead, they get a player with some untapped potential like Hurst. He did next to nothing with the Ravens even though he was a first-round pick for them just a couple of years ago. Assuming the Hooper role for the Falcons, Hurst has TE1 potential for Fantasy GMs in 2020 if he stays healthy.

Ravens | Baltimore's stats for the Divisional Round    Sat Jan 11, 11:36 PM

Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson threw for 365 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions Saturday, Jan. 11, vs. the Tennessee Titans in the AFC Divisional Round of the playoffs. He ran 20 times for 143 yards and lost a fumble. RB Mark Ingram (calf) ran six times for 22 yards. WR Marquise Brown caught seven of 11 targets for 126 yards. WR Willie Snead hauled in six of eight targets for 56 yards, while TE Hayden Hurst caught one touchdown on his four receptions for 53 yards. TE Mark Andrews managed four receptions for 39 yards on seven looks.

Footballguys view: Jackson put up a ton of yards on the ground and through the air. However, he turned the ball over too much to win and seemed to be too amped up from the start. The Ravens were the favorite to go to and win the Super Bowl. Now, they'll be sitting at home for the rest of the playoffs wondering what happened.

RB Gus Edwards rumbled for a team-high 130 yards on 21 carries, while RB Justice Hill ran 10 times for 39 yards and a score.   Ravens | Hayden Hurst good to go    Thu Jun 27, 11:51 AM

Baltimore Ravens TE Hayden Hurst (hamstring) said he is good to go for training camp.

Footballguys view: Hurst's health has been an issue and he is behind Mark Andrews in his development at least in part because of it. He's not draftable right now, but his progress will affect Andrews value, so we'll be watching if he can stay on the field in camp.

Ravens | Hayden Hurst over hamstring issue    Sun Jun 23, 09:17 PM

Baltimore Ravens TE Hayden Hurst (hamstring) was able to participate in minicamp after dealing with a hamstring injury during OTAs.

Footballguys view: Hurst has had trouble staying healthy, so it wasn't encouraging to see him on the injury report this spring. That he returned is redeeming, but we'll be watching his health closely this summer. Mark Andrews is still the tight end to own in this offense.

Ravens | Hayden Hurst a no-go on Thursday    Thu Jun 6, 02:30 PM

Baltimore Ravens TE Hayden Hurst (hamstring) was held out of organized team activities Thursday, June 6, for precautionary reasons after tweaking a hamstring, according to head coach John Harbaugh.

Footballguys view: Hurst has a ton of talent but these injuries are starting to be a concern. He was banged up as a rookie and only played in 12 games, catching just 13 passes for 163 yards and one touchdown. The 2018 first-round pick needs to stay healthy and prove that he's a better option than fellow second-year tight end Mark Andrews.

Ravens | Hayden Hurst wants more in 2019    Sat Apr 13, 10:02 PM

Baltimore Ravens TE Hayden Hurst said he was 'just average' as a rookie but believes he is capable of more in 2019 now that he has fully recovered from a foot injury.

Footballguys view: Hurst was a first-round pick in the 2018 NFL draft and he is the starting tight end for the Ravens. He only caught 13 passes for 163 yards and one touchdown as a rookie (in 12 games) and is looking to do much more. We like his athletic profile and upside, but the Ravens are a ground-and-pound team. That means his opportunities may be limited. If he plays up to his potential and stays healthy, Hurst could be a TE2 for Fantasy GMs.

Ravens | Hayden Hurst at full health    Tue Feb 19, 04:03 PM

Baltimore Ravens TE Hayden Hurst (foot) is fully healthy again after a screw was recently removed from the foot he fractured last August.

Footballguys view: The 2018 first-round pick wasn't able to make much of an impact as a rookie. Hurst was able to play in 12 games in his rookie year and caught only 13 passes for 163 yards and one touchdown. The Ravens have a run-heavy offense with QB Lamar Jackson running the show, so Fantasy GMs should not expect much from Hurst outside of TE2 levels of production in 2019.

Ravens | Hayden Hurst's stock rising    Thu Oct 11, 09:33 PM

Ravens | Hayden Hurst limited Thursday    Thu Oct 4, 04:50 PM

Baltimore Ravens TE Hayden Hurst (foot) was limited during practice Thursday, Oct. 4.

Ravens | Hayden Hurst limited in practice    Wed Oct 3, 05:29 PM

Baltimore Ravens TE Hayden Hurst (foot) was listed as a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Oct. 3.

Footballguys view: Hurst is expected back soon. The rookie first-round pick has the skill set of an impact tight end. He's big, strong and athletic enough to create mismatches when he's on the field. Hurst should become a favorite target of QB Joe Flacco. Pick him up now if you can and stash him. He's a TE2 with upside when he's on the field as the team's starter.
