DT Margus Hunt (illness) and WR Mike Thomas (hamstring) were not given practice designations Friday and are also listed as questionable. DT Geno Atkins (personal), DT Mike Daniels (rest), WR A.J. Green (rest), LB Germaine Pratt (illness), CB Mackensie Alexander (concussion), S Jessie Bates (illness), OT Bobby Hart (knee), CB LeShaun Sims (concussion), OT Jonah Williams (neck), CB Tony Brown (foot) and WR Tee Higgins (illness) practiced in full Friday and have been removed from the injury report.

| Footballguys view: Autry had a massive impact last week with three sacks and two forced fumbles. He would be greatly missed against Deshaun Watson if he can't go with Margus Hunt also ailing. Kelly will be missed on the offensive line against the Texans strong pass rush. The Colts are far from full strength for this pivotal game. |

Indianapolis Colts DE Tarell Basham was considered the definite favorite to start opposite DE Jabaal Sheard earlier in training camp, but the team has shuffled things around. DT Margus Hunt has moved over from defensive tackle to work at end, and DE John Simon has also worked with the starters. DE Kemoko Turay (undisclosed) is battling an undisclosed injury at the moment and isn't considered to be in the mix. The team is expected to use a rotation at the spot opposite Sheard even after someone officially wins the job.

WR Kamar Aiken (hamstring), DE Tarell Basham (illness), QB Jacoby Brissett (concussion), S Matthias Farley (knee), RB Frank Gore (rest), CB Kenny Moore II (concussion), and LB John Simon (neck) all participated fully in practice Friday and no longer appear on the injury report.

Cincinnati Bengals DE Margus Hunt has been working with Hall of Fame DE Kevin Greene learning how to improve as a pass rusher. 'I'm incorporating the way he rushed from an outside linebacker stance. Fortunately or unfortunately, I don't know, I can't be in the two-point stance. But what falls after that, it's the same principle. Getting off that line, getting a hard start on the offensive tackle. Just getting them to be nervous,' Hunt said Monday, Aug. 8.

Cincinnati Bengals DE Margus Hunt is being counted on to be part of the defensive line rotation this season, according to director of player personnel Duke Tobin, and Tobin said Hunt has developed a good relationship with defensive line coach Jacob Burney.
