Minnesota Vikings TE T.J. Hockenson (knee) may be out until October as he had to delay surgery to repair his anterior cruciate ligament until Jan. 29 in order to let his medial collateral ligament heal.
| Footballguys view: This is something that needs to be monitored in the offseason, but more specifically, when we get back to training camp in the summer. Hockenson injured his knee on Christmas Eve, so it would be miraculous if he's ready for Week 1. Instead, he could be put on PUP to begin the 2024 season. That would mean he's out for six weeks to begin the season. |

| Footballguys view: Hockenson is done for the year, and now he faces a long road to recovery. This type of injury could take 12 months to properly heal, although we've seen players come back a bit sooner. Hockenson's status for the start of the 2024 season is now up in the air, but we'll know more about him in training camp during the summer. For now, the Vikings turn to guys like Josh Oliver and Johnny Mundt at the position. |

Minnesota Vikings TE T.J. Hockenson ended up with 11 receptions for 134 yards and a touchdown on 15 targets in Week 10 against the New Orleans Saints. It was his first 100-yard game since Jan. 15, 2023 in the NFC wild-card game against the New York Giants, and it was his most yards in a game since going for 179 yards and two scores against the Seattle Seahawks on Oct. 2, 2022 as a member of the Minnesota Vikings.
| Footballguys view: Joshua Dobbs getting in at quarterback isn't going to hurt Hockenson's fantasy value in the least bit, although Justin Jefferson's impending return could reduce his targets slightly. Hopefully Hockenson won't be questionable next week after going into this week's game with the tag because of a rib injury. |
