Vikings | N'Keal Harry cut    Thu Aug 24, 11:47 AM

Minnesota Vikings WR N'Keal Harry was released Thursday, Aug. 24.

Footballguys view: Harry lasted a couple of weeks with the Vikings before they moved on. The former first-round pick (2019) has bounced around the league to a few teams, but there's someone out there who could give him a chance.

Vikings | N'Keal Harry joins Vikings    Mon Aug 7, 12:47 AM

Free-agent WR N'Keal Harry (Bears) signed with the Minnesota Vikings Sunday, Aug. 6. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.

Footballguys view: A first-round pick of the Patriots in the 2019 NFL draft, Harry has never had more than 33 catches or 309 yards in a season. In seven games with the Bears last year, Harry had just seven catches for 116 yards and one touchdown. The Vikings are giving him a look where Harry will be competing for a back-end spot on the roster with guys like Jalen Reagor (another former first-round pick) and Brandon Powell.

Bills | N'Keal Harry worked out    Sat Jul 29, 12:11 PM

Free-agent WR N'Keal Harry (Bears) worked out for the Buffalo Bills Friday, July 28.

Footballguys view: Harry is only 25, so you never know. The Bills wide receiver depth chart is strong, but if he is signed, Harry could push fifth-round pick Justin Shorter for a roster spot. The 2019 first-round pick had the look of a bust pretty much from day one in New England, which would make it sweeter for the Bills if they can salvage something from what's left of his time in football.

Bears | N'Keal Harry ready to roll    Mon Oct 10, 04:18 PM

Chicago Bears WR N'Keal Harry was activated from the Reserve/Injured list Monday, Oct. 10.

Footballguys view: Ready to roll is different than ready to actually produce. The former first-round pick of the Patriots in 2019, Harry was traded to the Bears earlier this year and then promptly got injured. The Bears are not passing the ball with great success, and we don't think having Harry out there cures that.

Bears | N'Keal Harry designated to return from IR    Wed Oct 5, 01:12 PM

Chicago Bears WR N'Keal Harry (ankle) was designated to return from injured reserve on Wednesday, Oct. 5, opening his 21-day window to be activated.

Footballguys view: We'll see when Harry is officially activated on the roster. The former first-round pick was a bust with the Patriots, but the Bears decided to trade for him earlier this year. The Bears' passing game has struggled mightily this year, and Harry's return is not going to help much.

Bears | N'Keal Harry goes to IR    Thu Sep 1, 11:37 AM

Chicago Bears WR N'Keal Harry (ankle) was placed on the injured reserve list Thursday, Sept. 1. He will be eligible to return in Week 5.

Footballguys view: The Bears traded the Patriots for their former first-round pick because they're desperate at wide receiver behind Darnell Mooney. It didn't take long for Harry to get banged up, and now he's set to miss the first month of the regular season. Harry needed a fresh start after failing to impress with the Patriots, but his Bears career is off to a bad start. We're not expecting much when he is healthy and does see the field in Chicago.

Bears | N'Keal Harry out eight weeks    Thu Aug 11, 08:46 AM

Updating previous reports, Chicago Bears WR N'Keal Harry (ankle) will undergo tightrope surgery Thursday, Aug. 11, and miss about eight weeks.

Footballguys view: It's disappointing news for the Bears after trading for Harry earlier this offseason. Harry needs a fresh start, but now he'll have to wait a couple of more months to get on the field.

Bears | N'Keal Harry avoids major injury    Sun Aug 7, 05:30 PM

Updating a previous report, Chicago Bears WR N'Keal Harry (ankle) was diagnosed with a high-ankle sprain and will see a specialist to determine how long he'll be out, according to sources on Sunday, Aug. 7.

Footballguys view: That's not good for a player who can have success after the catch. Harry is getting a fresh start with the Bears after the Patriots gave up on the former first-round pick and traded him away earlier this offseason. High-ankle sprains are known to linger, so Harry could struggle to impress when he does get out there later this year for the Bears.

Bears | N'Keal Harry may have severe ankle injury    Sun Aug 7, 02:27 PM

Chicago Bears WR N'Keal Harry (ankle) may have suffered a severe ankle injury Saturday, Aug. 6, according to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.

Footballguys view: Harry is getting a fresh start with a new team after the Patriots traded him to Chicago earlier this offseason. Now, this severe ankle injury could derail things before they even get to start over for him. The Bears are awaiting further evaluation and hoping for the best.

Bears | New England ships N'Keal Harry to Chicago    Tue Jul 12, 05:02 PM

New England Patriots WR N'Keal Harry was traded to the Chicago Bears in exchange for a 2024 seventh-round draft pick Tuesday, July 12.

Footballguys view: Harry wasn't going to make the roster in New England, and he has a chance to do that with the Bears. Right now, Harry is likely no.4 on the depth chart behind Darnell Mooney, Byron Pringle, and rookie Velus Jones. From a fantasy perspective, there's not much there for Harry.

Patriots | N'Keal Harry likely gone    Tue Jul 12, 10:46 AM

New England Patriots WR N'Keal Harry is likely to be released or traded, and it could come before the start of training camp.

Footballguys view: No surprise here. The former first-round pick has not played up to his potential in the pros, and his time with the Patriots is drawing to a close. There have been rumblings about the team moving him to tight end in order to build more interest...but that seems unlikely at this time. Unless Harry really flashes in the preseason, we think the Patriots will release him. That means another team will have to take a chance on him as a developmental guy.

Patriots | N'Keal Harry will attend minicamp    Mon Jun 6, 11:12 AM

New England Patriots WR N'Keal Harry will be present at mandatory minicamp when it begins on Tuesday, June 7, according to a source. Harry requested a trade in 2021 and was not present for voluntary organized team activities recently.

Footballguys view: It has been suggested that Harry try to move to tight end to increase his viability. The Patriots could attempt to trade him for late round draft capital, but a release is just as likely, if not more likely since Harry has done nothing to distinguish himself.

Patriots | Position Switch Needed for WR Harry?    Sun Jun 5, 02:47 PM

Mike Reiss, from ESPN.com, reports New England Patriots WR N'Keal Harry is a long shot to make the 53-man roster at his normal position. His best bet to make the team might come with a position switch to tight end.

Footballguys view: Harry has been a first-round bust, and if he moved to tight end he could compete with guys like compete with Devin Asiasi and Dalton Keene as the no.3 tight end behind Hunter Henry and Jonnu Smith. We'll have to see if the Patriots want to potentially waste time with such a move. In super deep dynasty formats, you can get Harry for cheap. Go ahead and buy low if you think a change of scenery will help the former first-round pick.

Cardinals | Is N'Keal Harry on Arizona's radar?    Sun Apr 10, 08:50 PM

The Arizona Cardinals could be in the mix to acquire New England Patriots WR N'Keal Harry, in the opinion of CardsWire writer Jess Root. Arizona could use one of its five sixth- or seventh-round picks to acquire the former Arizona State star to fill the 'Z' spot occupied last year by current free-agent WR A.J. Green.

Footballguys view: Harry was a star in college at Arizona State, and his play for the Sun Devils got him selected in the first round of the 2019 NFL draft. He's yet to play up to his potential, and with the Patriots trading for DeVante Parker it could spell the end of Harry's time in New England. He could get dealt around the draft.
