Washington Redskins FS Brandon Meriweather and SS Madieu Williams aren't considered the safest projected starters in the NFL. Head coach Mike Shanahan wanted to make his roster deeper, and he worked to grab plenty of talent at the position. Safeties Reed Doughty, DeJon Gomes, Michael Hamlin, Tanard Jackson and Eain Smith will all be looking to move up the depth chart.
