Miami Dolphins WR Jakeem Grant has an opportunity for playing time with WRs Albert Wilson and Allen Hurns opting out.
Footballguys view: Grant is now in line for the no.3 wide receiver job on the depth chart behind DeVante Parker and Preston Williams. He's a smaller receiver but Grant is ultra quick and can make defenders look silly in the open field. |
Jakeem Grant player page

Miami Dolphins WR Jakeem Grant (ankle) said he is fully recovered from his ankle injury and believes he can have a big role in the offense in 2020. 'If the opportunity presents itself where I can be a receiver and get those targets each and every game like I should, I am going to go out there and shock the world that I can be a top receiver in this league,' Grant said.
Footballguys view: Grant is part of the wave of undersized but fast and quick "weapons" who are finding bigger roles in offenses that spread out the field. The Dolphins have their top three receivers set (Devante Parker, Preston Williams, Allen Hurns), but Grant can still add another dimension in Chan Gailey's offense. |
