San Francisco 49ers DL Dee Ford (quad, hamstring) and WR Dante Pettis (knee) did not practice Friday, Nov. 29, and have been ruled out for Week 13 against the Baltimore Ravens. RB Matt Breida (ankle) and OT Joe Staley were limited Friday and are listed as questionable. TE George Kittle (knee, ankle), WR Deebo Samuel (shoulder) and WR Emmanuel Sanders (ribs) were also limited Friday but have been removed from the injury report. PK Robbie Gould (quad) and DT Jullian Taylor (jaw) practiced in full all week and also no longer appear on the injury report.
Footballguys view: Breida could be back this week to downgrade Raheem Mostert's value, but he's not trustworthy yet, especially not against the tough Ravens defense. Staley's return would be a boon for Jimmy Garoppolo as he'll face a tough Ravens secondary and need time to break them down. Kittle, Samuel, Sanders appear to be out of the woods with the injuries that made them game-time decisions last week. |

San Francisco 49ers OT Joe Staley (finger) did not practice all week and has been ruled out for Week 12 against the Green Bay Packers. RB Matt Breida (ankle), DL Dee Ford (quad, hamstring) and PK Robbie Gould (quad) also did not practice all week and are listed as doubtful. TE George Kittle (knee, ankle), WR Deebo Samuel (shoulder) and WR Emmanuel Sanders (ribs) were limited in practice for a straight day Friday, Nov. 22, and are listed as questionable. LB Azeez Al-Shaair (concussion) practiced in full all week, while RB Raheem Mostert (knee) and DL D.J. Jones (groin) practiced fully for a second straight day Friday; all three players no longer appear on the injury report.
Footballguys view: Sanders, Samuel, and Kittle are all game-time calls, but seen by at least one beat writer as likely to play. Kittle is a must-play if active, and Sanders and Samuel have some upside as WR3/Flex options because of the matchup. You can carry a hedge from San Francisco, Green Bay, Baltimore or the Rams if you are planning on playing any of them. |

San Francisco 49ers PK Robbie Gould was offered the $4.971 million franchise tag on Feb. 26, but he still has not signed the deal. Gould, who requested a trade back in April, is unsure that playing for the 49ers is best for him and his family. The deadline for a multi-year deal is 4 p.m. ET on Monday, July 15, and he said he was not going to commit to making a decision by then.

K Robbie Gould still hasn't signed the franchise tag extended to him by the San Francisco 49ers earlier this offseason. The 36-year-old has requested a trade which the team has refused up to this point. Gould says he's prioritizing time with his family, who remain in Chicago, Ill. 'It's a complicated situation,' Gould said. 'The way I've kind of approached it is, I want to spend time with my family. And I let my agent handle it, and if anything comes up that I have to make a decision or be in the know, he'll call me and let me know. But right now there's nothing to really know, and I'm just enjoying being home and being in Chicago. ... I'm at a point in my career where my family is what's going to dictate the decisions that I make.'
Footballguys view: Gould's family is in Chicago and no team needs a kicker more than the Bears. The problem is that the 49ers might be asking a lot for him in a trade and the Bears will balk at giving up a high pick for a kicker. This seems like a situation with a wide range of outcomes, including retirement for Gould. |

San Francisco 49ers PK Robbie Gould, who has been offered the team's franchise tag but has yet to sign it, has informed the team he will not negotiate or sign a long-term deal with them and wants to be traded, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Footballguys view: Gould is wrangling to go back to the Bears, who are in kicker hell right now. He would need a new contract, which the Bears will need to maneuver to afford, and the Bears would need to give up draft capital, which they have little of this year. The 49ers have Jon Brown on hand to handle kicking duties until this gets sorted out. |
