Texans | Will Fuller hit with six-game suspension    Mon Nov 30, 05:45 PM

Houston Texans WR Will Fuller was suspended by the NFL for six games for violating the league's performance-enhancing drug substance policy on Monday, Nov. 30.

Footballguys view: Huge news for Fantasy GMs here. The suspension means that Fuller is out for the rest of the 2020 season. Fuller had finally stayed healthy and was playing up to the enormous potential he's always had. He will be an unrestricted free agent next year and still will have a one-game suspension to serve wherever he lands. Brandin Cooks, Keke Coutee, and rookie Isaiah Coulter are the top three wide receivers for the Texans going forward.

Texans | Will Fuller has monster game    Thu Nov 26, 04:15 PM

Houston Texans WR Will Fuller caught six passes for 171 yards and two touchdowns against the Detroit Lions in Week 12. He was targeted seven times during the game.

Footballguys view: Fuller has stayed healthy this year and his talent is coming through on a weekly basis. He's always had talent and great connection with QB Deshaun Watson. So long as he stays healthy (something that has been a problem for him during his entire pro career) Fuller is worth considering as a WR1 for Fantasy GMs.

Texans | Will Fuller catches six passes    Sun Nov 22, 06:53 PM

Houston Texans WR Will Fuller caught six passes for 80 yards against the New England Patriots in Week 11. He was targeted eight times during the game.

Footballguys view: Fuller is doing a great job staying healthy and will be a high ceiling WR2 against the Lions beleaguered defense on Thanksgiving.

Texans | Will Fuller targeted eight times    Sun Nov 15, 04:24 PM

Houston Texans WR Will Fuller ended up with five catches for 38 yards on eight targets in Week 10 against the Cleveland Browns.

Footballguys view: Any time the deep pass is taken away by the wind, that's going to be especially bad for a receiver like Fuller. He may draw Stephon Gilmore next week against the Patriots.

The Green Bay Packers are one of the teams to inquire about the availability of Houston Texans WR Will Fuller, according to The Athletic's Aaron Reiss, who adds that no deal is imminent.

Footballguys view: The Packers should be exploring other options at wide receiver. Fuller and that deep speed would be a great fit opposite of Davante Adams. With the trade deadline next week, we should see some activity.

Houston Texans WR Will Fuller (hamstring) is expected to return to practice Friday, Oct. 2, after being limited Thursday. 'Will is going to be fine,' Texans coach Bill O'Brien said Friday. '(I) wanted to give him a little rest. He'll practice (Friday).'

Footballguys view: Fuller still carries the same risk as always, but the reward could be very large indeed vs. the Vikings ragtag secondary. Cross your fingers and start him this weekend.

Houston Texans WR Will Fuller caught four passes for 54 yards and one touchdown against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 3. He was targeted five times during the game.

Houston Texans LB Peter Kalambayi (hamstring) did not practice Friday, Sept. 18, and is listed as questionable for Week 2 against the Baltimore Ravens. WR Brandin Cooks (quad), OT Tytus Howard (ankle) and RB Duke Johnson (ankle) were limited all week and are also listed as questionable. WR Will Fuller (non-injury) did not participate in practice Friday but is expected to play. DE J.J. Watt (hip) was limited in practice all week but no longer appears on the injury report. LB Jonathan Greenard (ankle) and FB Cullen Gillaspia (hamstring) practiced in full Friday and have also been removed from the injury report.

Texans | Will Fuller tops 100 yards in loss    Fri Sep 11, 01:23 AM

Houston Texans WR Will Fuller was targeted 10 times on Thursday, Sept. 10, and finished with eight receptions for 112 yards.

Footballguys view: Fuller's value is taking off as Watson targeted him frequently on intermediate routes. The deep passing was not effective, but Fuller is going to be a must start regardless as long as he is on the field.

Texans | Will Fuller has QB's belief    Wed Aug 19, 04:46 PM

Houston Texans WR Will Fuller is 'going to be one of the best receivers in the league,' according to QB Deshaun Watson Wednesday, Aug. 19. Fuller arrived at camp in great shape, according to head coach Bill O'Brien.

Footballguys view: Fuller and Watson have a great connection on the field. Their chemistry is not an issue...but Fuller's long injury history is. If Fuller is healthy, then he's got plenty of flex appeal for Fantasy GMs. Fuller rarely stays healthy for that long, so understand you're trying to catch a window with him and cannot count on him for the full season.

Texans | Will Fuller adds strength    Sat Aug 15, 02:25 PM

Houston Texans WR Will Fuller has added strength and some extra muscle this offseason and has reported to camp at 190 pounds, according to head coach Bill O'Brien.

Footballguys view: Fuller is hoping the extra strength helps his durability. He is a speedy receiver who can get by defenders in a hurry. Fuller also has a strong connection with QB Deshaun Watson, and it would help the Texans passing game greatly (especially since they traded away WR DeAndre Hopkins) if Fuller can stay healthy.

Texans | Will Fuller ready to roll    Fri Jul 31, 09:42 PM

Houston Texans WR Will Fuller (groin) is fully recovered from groin surgery, according to head coach Bill O'Brien. 'We're excited about having him for 16 games,' O'Brien said. 'He looks as good as he's ever looked'

Footballguys view: Fuller is so good...when healthy. It's that staying healthy thing that has been a trouble spot for him. The Texans are moving forward without superstar WR DeAndre Hopkins who was traded away to the Cardinals this offseason. Now, more than ever, they need Fuller to stay healthy and produce at a high level. He's worth taking a chance on, even if it's just to capture a small window when he is healthy, as a mid-round pick. Fuller has a current ADP of WR35 (8.03) in 12-team PPR leagues.

Texans | Few stretch the field like Will Fuller    Sun Jun 21, 07:03 PM

Houston Texans WR Will Fuller has been targeted 20 yards or more downfield 31 percent of the time in his career - tied for the second-highest mark in the league since 2015.

Footballguys view: Fuller is your classic deep threat...and he can be a top weapon in the league if healthy. Unfortunately, Fuller is injured every year and has never played a full 16-game season in the pros. Without DeAndre Hopkins, the Texans could really use Fuller staying healthy and continuing to make plays. Fuller could post career-best numbers in 2020...again...if he can stay healthy.

Texans | Very little short work for Will Fuller    Sun Jun 14, 06:38 PM

Houston Texans WR Will Fuller's average depth of reception has been at least 14.2 yards in each of his four seasons in the league, according to Sports Info Solutions.

Footballguys view: Fuller's game is all about getting deep as fast as possible. He's got speed, speed and more speed...plus Fuller does a good job tracking passes down the field. If healthy, a big IF for Fuller, he has WR2 potential for Fantasy GMs in 2020.

Texans | Will Fuller got it done when he was healthy    Wed May 27, 09:21 PM

Houston Texans WR Will Fuller finished with 670 receiving yards in 2019 - the second-highest total for a player who played fewer than 12 games last season - although more than half of that total (357 yards) came in two of his 11 contests.

Footballguys view: Fuller is incredibly talented but he's always banged up. He's never played a full 16-game regular season as a pro and he might not get through this year unscathed. The Texans traded away DeAndre Hopkins and that could open up things for Fuller to do more...if he can stay healthy. He's at least a WR2 and every-week starter when Fuller is on the field.

Texans | Coach optimistic about Will Fuller    Wed May 20, 07:08 PM

Houston Texans WR Will Fuller (groin) appears to be on track with his recovery from surgery, according to offensive coordinator Tim Kelly.

Footballguys view: In four seasons (42 games), Fuller has never played a full 16-game season due to various injuries. We'll see if he can finally play all year long as the team needs him in a big way since they traded away DeAndre Hopkins. Fuller can be drafted as a WR4 with upside.

Texans | Will Fuller on the mend    Thu Apr 16, 06:25 PM

Houston Texans WR Will Fuller (groin) is 'doing great,' according to head coach/general manager Bill O'Brien Thursday, April 16. 'We're excited about Will. We're excited about the 2020 Will. We feel like he's really working,' O'Brien said. 'Like I've said a lot, when he's played for us, he's made huge plays. I think he's looking to have a really good 2020.'

Footballguys view: Fuller is great when he's healthy but he's rarely stayed healthy for that long. He's got plenty of speed and a great connection with QB Deshaun Watson.

Texans | Will Fuller a key cog?    Sun Apr 5, 10:21 PM

Houston Texans WR Will Fuller played in 11 games in 2019, and the team averaged 26.3 points in those contests compared to 19.6 in the five games he missed. Houston had an 8-3 record when Fuller played and went 2-3 without him in the lineup.

Footballguys view: Fuller is awesome when he's healthy....and he's rarely healthy for that long. The Texans are playing a dangerous game by trading away DeAndre Hopkins (thanks to Bill O'Brien). Fuller and Randall Cobb are not exactly a dangerous duo. All due respect to those two veterans, but the Texans are taking a huge step down in talent since Hopkins is gone.

Texans | Will Fuller undergoes surgery    Sat Jan 25, 04:37 PM

Houston Texans WR Will Fuller (groin) underwent sports hernia surgery, according to sources Saturday, Jan. 25. He's expected to make a full recovery.

Footballguys view: Fuller has the speed to make plays with ease as a big-play target. However, he's always banged up with these soft tissue injuries. This groin injury slowed him down in 2019 and Fuller only appeared in 11 games last season. We'll see if he can get healthy and stay healthy for a full 16-game season in 2020...it would be the first time in his NFL career if he can do that.

Texans | Houston blows big lead, falls in Kansas City    Sun Jan 12, 06:31 PM

Houston Texans QB Deshaun Watson completed 31-of-52 passes for 388 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in Sunday's 51-31 AFC Divisional Round playoff game loss against the Kansas City Chiefs, as the team blew a 24-0 lead. RB Carlos Hyde rushed 13 times for 44 yards, while Watson also added 37 yards and a score. WR DeAndre Hopkins ended up with nine grabs for 118 yards on a game-high 14 targets. WR Will Fuller was a nice secondary option with 89 yards on five catches, while WR Kenny Stills posted three receptions for 80 yards and a touchdown. TE Darren Fells also had three catches for 22 yards and a touchdown on seven targets. RB Duke Johnson also chipped in with 11 rushing yards and five grabs for 23 yards. CB Lonnie Johnson also had a blocked kick return for touchdown in the first quarter while totaling four solo tackles.

Footballguys view: Watson was gifted a 24-0 lead but then turned into a deer in the headlights like his teammates as the game quickly slipped away. The stats were great in a perfect fantasy football game script, but this game will be remembered as an all-time collapse. The Texans are unlikely to make any majors this offseason and will be without their first and third round picks in the draft.

Houston Texans WR Will Fuller (groin) is expected to have his status for the AFC wild-card game Sunday, Jan. 12, determined by a game-time decision, head coach Bill O'Brien said Friday.
