Free-agent WR Bennie Fowler (Giants) reportedly agreed to terms on an undisclosed contract with the New Orleans Saints on Thursday, July 30.
Footballguys view: Fowler has been with the Giants each of the last two years, averaging about 20 catches per year. He'll be reunited with former Broncos teammate Emmanuel Sanders and give the Saints more veteran depth -- if he makes the 53-man roster. |

New York Giants WR Cody Latimer (concussion) was unable to practice all week and has been ruled out for Week 3 versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Footballguys view: The Giants are getting Sterling Shepard and Darius Slayton back this week, but they are also giving their quarterback his first NFL start against a hot defense. It probably won't be a good day for the Giants passing game in Tampa. |

Free-agent WR Bennie Fowler (Bears) signed an undisclosed deal with the New England Patriots Tuesday, Sept. 11.
Footballguys view: Signed to a one-year deal by the Bears back in April, Fowler failed to make the 53-man roster. The Patriots are thin at wide receiver and we're not expecting much from Fowler now that he's caught on with a new team. |

Free-agent WR Bennie Fowler (Broncos) agreed to terms on a one-year deal with the Chicago Bears Friday, April 13, according to a source. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Footballguys view: Fowler had an opportunity to be the Broncos no.3 WR last year but he didn't do much. In 2017, he did set a career high with 29 receptions for 350 yards and three touchdowns. With the Bears, Fowler should compete for the 4th spot on the depth chart behind guys like Allen Robinson, Kevin White and Taylor Gabriel. |

Link to storyBennie Fowler player page

Denver Broncos restricted free-agent WR Bennie Fowler likely will not receive a tender offer from the Broncos, which would make him an unrestricted free agent this offseason.
Footballguys view: Fowler has some upside, but would probably never totally break through in the Denver receiving group. There's too much talent there. He is intriguing depending on his landing spot. |
