Kansas City Chiefs WR Donnie Avery (groin), CB Jamell Fleming (hamstring), LB Josh Martin (hamstring) and CB Christopher Owens (knee) have been ruled out for Week 9 against the New York Jets. S Eric Berry (ankle), TE Anthony Fasano (shoulder), CB Phillip Gaines (quadriceps), WR Junior Hemingway (hamstring), OG Mike McGlynn (foot), CB Sean Smith (groin) and RB Cyrus Gray (hand) are probable. Avery, Fleming, and Martin didn't practice Friday, Oct. 31. Owens and Berry were limited, while the rest practiced in full.

CB Jamell Fleming (hamstring) and LB Josh Martin (hamstring) both did not practice. S Eric Berry (ankle) and CB Christopher Owens (knee) were both limited in practice. TE Anthony Fasano (shoulder), CB Phillip Gaines (quadricep), RB Cyrus Gray (hand), WR Junior Hemingway (hamstring), G Mike McGlynn (foot) and CB Sean Smith (groin) all fully practiced.

Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce caught a 43-yard touchdown strike in the second preseason game over the weekend. He has six catches for 136 yards on seven targets this preseason.
| Footballguys view: Message! Kelce has Gronkowski-like talent, and he's been impressing throughout camp and into the preseason. Fantasy owners can pick up this value play at TE17 (13.09) in 12-team PPR leagues. The Chiefs lack weapons outside of Jamaal Charles and Dwayne Bowe (if he cares). Kelce could be in for a role that makes him a low-end TE1 for fantasy owners. |
