Ertz had been coming through as a consistent target for QB Kyler Murray, and tight end has been brutal in fantasy football this year but the Cardinals' starter was the no.5 fantasy tight end (standard-scoring leagues). Rookie TE Trey McBride will work to take over the position. He's a good all-around player who reminded some in the scouting community of Chris Cooley. McBride was the first tight end off the board in the 2022 NFL draft, getting selected at the no.55 overall pick. |

Updating a previous report, Arizona Cardinals TE Zach Ertz (knee) was in a knee brace after the Week 10 game against the Los Angeles Rams, and a source said Sunday, Nov. 13 that the veteran tight end is expected to miss multiple weeks. The good news is that his anterior cruciate ligament appears to be intact. He'll have an MRI Monday, Nov. 14 to determine the full extent of his injury.
