Free-agent WR Kris Durham (Titans) was signed to an undisclosed contract by the Oakland Raiders Thursday, June 4. TE Scott Simonson was subsequently released.
Footballguys view: Durham is a big-bodied target with soft hands and decent concentration. He's not going to outrun anybody, but he knows how to use his size to box out smaller defenders. His roster spot is not guaranteed, but he'll compete for a job at the end of the depth chart. |

The Oakland Raiders are expected to sign WR Kris Durham, per league sources. Durham spent the 2014 season with the Tennessee Titans.

Free-agent WR A.J. Jenkins (Chiefs), WR Kris Durham (Titans), WR Tommy Streeter (Jaguars), WR B.J. Cunningham (Bears) and RB Ronnie Wingo (Falcons) worked out for the Dallas Cowboys Thursday, May 21.
Footballguys view: We've always kept tabs on Cunningham in super deep dynasty leagues as he's bounced around the league. He's the best player on this list in our opinion, and the Cowboys did not sign him (or anyone from this group). |

Tennessee Titans WR Derek Hagan is likely to join WRs Kendall Wright and Nate Washington as one of the top-three receivers now that WR Justin Hunter (spleen) is done for the year, starting in Week 14 against the New York Giants. Hagan had been working on special teams and as the team's fourth wideout. He played 32 snaps on offense and caught two passes for 39 yards in Week 13. WR Kris Durham is a young alternative, but the team isn't very high on him, he's not fast, and he's been inactive for 10 games. In the two games Durham was active, he didn't even play a single snap.
Footballguys view: We've got to give it up to Hagan. He's bounced around the league for years despite not being the most gifted player. He's fast and runs clean routes, but Hagan has difficulty with concentration at times. There's no fantasy value to be had here, even in dynasty leagues. |

The Tennessee Titans have declared RB Antonio Andrews, QB Charlie Whitehurst, CB Coty Sensabaugh, DT DaQuan Jones, WR Kris Durham, TE Taylor Thompson, OT Will Svitek inactive for Week 8.
Footballguys view: Andrews is valuable enough to the Titans to call up from the practice squad to prevent the Bills from getting him, but not enough to make him active. |

Detroit Lions WR Kris Durham has been released.
Footballguys view: Not a surprise. Matthew Stafford's former college roommate at Georgia might find it tough to latch on with another team. |

Detroit Lions WR Kevin Ogletree has been spent time on the top unit each of the first two days of training camp, working as the No. 3 receiver. He is battling WRs Ryan Broyles, Kris Durham, Corey Fuller and Jeremy Ross, among others, for the No. 3 job behind starting WRs Calvin Johnson and Golden Tate. Offensive coordinator Joe Lombardi singled out Ogletree during the spring as a player that impressed him.

The Detroit Lions are expected to re-sign exclusive rights free-agent WRs Kris Durham and Jeremy Ross this offseason.
Footballguys view: Durham has long-established chemistry with Matthew Stafford dating back to their days in college at Georgia. They were college roommates, and Durham makes for a quality reserve receiver. Ross has the ability to be a dangerous slot receiver and return man. |

The Detroit Lions are expected to give restricted free-agent WR Kris Durham the original-round tender offer this offseason.
Footballguys view: Durham should stick around in Detroit. He has long-established chemistry with QB Matthew Stafford as they were roommates in college at Georgia. |

Detroit Lions WR Nate Burleson (forearm) is likely to see most of the snaps out of the slot position in Week 12 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, meaning WRs Jeremy Ross and Kris Durham will see less playing time. Burleson practiced in full pads both Thursday, Nov. 21, and Friday, Nov. 22, and is probable for this weekend.

Detroit Lions WR Nate Burleson (forearm) has returned to practice, but he doesn't sound very optimistic that he'll be back on the field in Week 10 against the Chicago Bears. 'I'm not going to sit here and pull an RG3 and talk over what is common sense and that's listen to my coaches and listen to the doctors,' Burleson said. 'I want to play and that's just me being a competitor. That doesn't mean that my arm is ready to be out there for 60 minutes. I'm going to talk with the coaches, talk with the trainers and talk with the doctors and figure out if this week, next week or the week after is best for me.' Burleson did positional drills and wore a Kevlar brace over his arm in practice Tuesday, Nov. 5. He has most of the grip strength back in his left hand.

Detroit Lions WR Nate Burleson (forearm) returned to practice Tuesday, Nov. 5, but it's not a guarantee that he'll return to play in Week 10 against the Chicago Bears. 'I'd caution reading too much (into) him being out there and being back,' head coach Jim Schwartz said. 'But he is progressing well and everyone is pleased with his progression. We all know how tough a guy Nate is. If it was up to him, he probably would have missed one game, but there's only so much that you can do with healing bones and stuff.'

Detroit Lions WR Ryan Broyles (Achilles') suffered a ruptured Achilles' tendon in the team's Week 8 game and will miss the rest of the season. He is scheduled to undergo surgery Tuesday, Oct. 29, to repair the injury.
Footballguys view: Bad news for Broyles here, and another injury that brings up questions about his future as a pro. Broyles is incredibly talented, but multiple knee injuries (and now this injury) have held him back as a pro. We'll see if he can even be ready for the start of training camp next year. |

Detroit Lions WR Kris Durham had a career-high eight receptions for 83 yards in the Week 6 game against the Cleveland Browns. 'I'm definitely getting a rhythm,' Durham said Sunday, Oct. 13. 'I've been working a lot more with (QB Matthew Stafford) the last couple of weeks, so I am starting to get more of a rhythm with him.' Stafford said Durham was targeted 13 times because the receiver was 'winning his matchups.'
Footballguys view: This will likely go down as Durham's best game this year. As Calvin Johnson's gets healthier, Durham's temporary value will wane, but this does show how little value Ryan Broyles has right now. |

Detroit Lions WR Calvin Johnson (knee) was limited in practice for the second straight day Friday, Oct. 11, and he practiced without wearing a knee brace. However, he struggled with he had to cut in his routes and will be a game-time decision in Week 6 against the Cleveland Browns.
Footballguys view: Johnson belongs in your lineup as long as he is active, but Matthew Stafford's QB1 status is a bit cloudy because of the tough matchup and the potential for Johnson to be limited. |

Detroit Lions WR Ryan Broyles had just two catches for 27 yards on two targets in the team's Week 5 loss to the Green Bay Packers. Broyles ran only 15 routes compared to 46 for WR Kris Durham and 41 for WR Patrick Edwards.
Footballguys view: Broyles has incredible natural talent, but he's coming off two major knee injuries in the last two years. He may never be the player that he used to be. We'll see if he can improve as he continues to get healthier. |

Detroit Lions WR Kris Durham (thumb) aggravated a right thumb injury in the Week 5 game against the Green Bay Packers, and he had a heavy ice pack on the thumb after the game. Durham said the thumb is a pre-existing injury and he is not concerned.

Detroit Lions WR Kris Durham played in 92 percent of the team's 66 offensive snaps in Week 4 win over the Chicago Bears and scored his first touchdown of the season with WRs Patrick Edwards (ankle) and Nate Burleson (forearm) out. Durham played two snaps less than WR Calvin Johnson and 20 more than WR Ryan Broyles. Durham finished with three catches for 58 yards, a career high for him. 'It gives me some confidence,' Durham said. 'I think it gives Matthew some confidence in me. I was in the right place at the right time and made good throws, good catches.'
Footballguys view: Durham is a big possession receiver who can make difficult grabs over the middle of the field. He was college roommates with Matthew Stafford and the two clearly have chemistry on the fieid. We like Durham in deep dynasty leagues, but in re-draft he's more of a low end flex play from week to week. |

Detroit Lions WR Kris Durham was in for 38 snaps against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 2. He was targeted twice, and had no receptions. He was seeing more time on the field with WR Patrick Edwards (ankle) sidelined.
Footballguys view: Durham is an interesting receiver to monitor in super deep dynasty leagues. He is a smooth athlete who can make difficult catches. Durham is not a quick twitch athlete but does a good job of using his frame to shield defenders away from the ball. |

The Detroit Lions have 13 wide receivers on their roster heading into training camp, and they're looking for depth in case injuries strike again at the position. The favorite for the No. 4 job behind WRs Calvin Johnson, Ryan Broyles and Nate Burleson has been WR Patrick Edwards. He is a bit undersized at 5-foot-9, 175 pounds, but impressed during offseason workouts. It appears he and newcomer WR Chaz Schilens will jockey for the No. 4 job, and WRs Kris Durham, Corey Fuller and Michael Spurlock also could factor in.
