New Orleans Saints DE Kenyon Coleman (pectoral) will miss the entire 2013 season because of a torn pectoral muscle.
Footballguys view: More injuries to the Saints' defense here. Coleman was set to be the team's starting left end as they transition to Rob Ryan's 3-4 defense. Without Coleman we'll likely see Akiem Hicks get the starting nod. |

The Dallas Cowboys could go into a 4-3 defensive alignment in their Week 8 game against the New York Giants due to injuries to LB Sean Lee (toe) and DE Sean Lissemore (ankle). 'I think that's something they'll evaluate,' DE Marcus Spears said of the defensive coaches. 'We've been a multifaceted defense since the beginning of the year so guys have to prepare for 3-4 and 4-3. For us, that's the way we've been playing up to this point and I don't think that will change much.' If the Cowboys went with a 4-3, a potential lineup would be at end DE Jason Hatcher and DE Kenyon Coleman with DT Josh Brent and DT Jay Ratliff the tackles. Expect LB DeMarcus Ware and LB Anthony Spencer to remain the outside linebackers with LB Bruce Carter the middle linebacker.
Footballguys view: Carter's IDP fantasy value could be enhanced even more by this change, and Demarcus Ware could conceivably be in a position get more tackles. |
