  Broncos | Denver's injury report for Week 7    Fri Oct 23, 06:18 PM

Denver Broncos LB Jeremiah Attaochu (quad) and WR Diontae Spencer (shoulder) did not practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 7 versus the Kansas City Chiefs. FB/TE Andrew Beck (hamstring) also did not practice all week but is listed as questionable. OG Dalton Risner (shoulder) was upgraded to a limited practice Friday, Oct. 23, and is also listed as questionable. TE Jake Butt (hamstring) did not practice Friday but no longer appears on the injury report. OT Demar Dotson (shoulder), LB Bradley Chubb (ankle), WR KJ Hamler (hamstring), TE Noah Fant (ankle) and NT Mike Purcell (knee) practiced in full Friday and have also been removed from the injury report.

Footballguys view: Fant is fully ready to go, but it remains to be seen if fourth-round pick Albert Okwuegbunam will cut into his target share. Hamler being back should also widen the Broncos target tree.

Bouye (shoulder), DT Dre'Mont Jones (knee) and DE DeMarcus Walker (calf) were also limited but remain on the Reserve/Injured list and don't receive official injury designations.

RB Phillip Lindsay (foot) was upgraded to a limited practice Friday, Sept. 25, but is listed as doubtful. WR Jerry Jeudy (ribs) was upgraded to a full practice Friday and is listed as questionable. LB Jeremiah Attaochu (quad) was limited after being added to the injury report Friday but is expected to play. Denver Broncos LB Bradley Chubb (knee) is expected to be near full health by Week 1, according to comments made by head coach Vic Fangio on Monday, Aug. 31.

Footballguys view: Chubb injured his knee last October and is not even 12 months removed from the injury. He's been limited at Broncos practice and was held out for most of Saturday's scrimmage and on Monday's non-padded practice. Expect the team to take it easy on him with only a few days of training camp left. Chubb should be out there for most of the snaps in Week 1 against the Titans.

Footballguys view: Hopefully it is minor as the Broncos defense is a lot more fun to watch when Chubb and Von Miller are both out there, unless you are Ryan Tannehill getting ready for Week 1.

Denver Broncos LB Bradley Chubb (knee) said Friday, July 31, his recovery from ACL surgery has gone well and said he'll be ready for Week 1. 'No doubt about it,' Chubb said in a Zoom media conference call.

Footballguys view: Getting Chubb back will be a great boost for the Broncos defense. Chubb was phenomenal as a rookie in 2018, snaring 12.0 sacks for the Broncos. Last year, Chubb played the 'Khalil Mack' role in the Vic Fangio defense but was only able to get 1.0 sack in four games before getting hurt. Having Chubb back at full strength will greatly help Von Miller on the other side.

Denver Broncos LB Bradley Chubb (knee) is making really good progress in his recovery, according to general manager John Elway Thursday, Jan. 23, and should be ready for organized team activities In May or the offseason program in April.

Footballguys view: The Broncos defense could look much more ferocious in 2020 with the return of Chubb. While Von Miller had a disappointing 2019, his stats could improve next season with Chubb getting a lot of attention on the opposite side of the formation.

  Broncos | Bradley Chubb suffers torn ACL    Mon Sep 30, 01:58 PM

Denver Broncos LB Bradley Chubb (knee) returned to the game in Week 4 versus the Jacksonville Jaguars after suffering a knee injury, but it was discovered Monday, Sept. 30, that he actually tore his anterior cruciate ligament. He will miss the remainder of the season.

Footballguys view: A huge blow to the Broncos defense. Chubb finally got his first sack of the year against the Jaguars on Sunday and then left the game briefly as he appeared to be suffering from cramps. The Broncos will use a rotation of players, led by undrafted rookie OLB Malik Reed in an effort to replace Chubb on defense.

Denver Broncos DE Bradley Chubb's 12.0 sacks in 2018 set a new franchise record for sacks in a season by a rookie.

Footballguys view: Chubb showed the tip of the iceberg during his rookie season in 2018. He looks a bit like a young Terrell Suggs out there with his size, power and burst from the edge. New Broncos head coach Vic Fangio should be able to get quite a bit of use from Chubb in 2019.
