| Footballguys view: The wily veteran just isn't the same player he used to be. This was the second time the Saints have let him go this season. He's unlikely to find work for the next two weeks, and we're not sure how many teams would be interested next offseason. |

| Footballguys view: Griffin should find his way to the practice squad. He's an intriguing prospect in super deep dynasty leagues. Griffin has enough pocket mobility to climb the ladder and escape edge pressure. He has a strong arm who can make throws with proper velocity but he needs to do a better job of manipulating the defense with his eyes. |

'We've not only seen him work out here, but experience with him in games on the field. He's done a nice job playing in the slot, he gives us depth there,' Turner said. 'I feel like I have a very extensive football knowledge,' Carr said. 'It's not only knowing the plays and how to run them, it's how do offenses try to attack you? When you're younger, you don't know that. You really don't understand how to watch film. I think when it comes to that, and I'm already talking to a lot of the young guys.'
