The New York Jets released WR Jacoby Ford, WR Mike Campbell, TE Colin Anderson, FB Chad Young, DE Anthony Grady and CB Ras-I Dowling Sunday, Aug. 24.
Footballguys view: It's not a good sign for Ford's future in the NFL if he can't make the Jets final roster. Fantasy owners in super deep dynasty leagues can feel free moving on from Ford. |

New York Jets TEs Zach Sudfeld, Chris Pantale and Colin Anderson will compete for one or two roster spots during training camp. It is not known if the team will keep three or four tight ends on their final roster.
Footballguys view: Sudfeld was a hot deal with the Patriots in training camp, but couldn't stick. He's got soft hands, decent speed and great size but isn't much of a blocker. Pantale was on the practice squad most of last season and didn't impress when he was moved up. Anderson is on a futures/reserve contract and is a pretty average small-school product. We think Sudfeld is the guy here, though he won't have any fantasy value unless there are injuries. |
