FanDuel was back at it again with their massive Week 17 Sunday Million contest, requiring a $25 entry fee with 14,530 people getting paid out at least $50. Each week FanDuel will be running a Sunday Million GPP Contest and we will break it down here at Footballguys.com and see what the keys were to having the top lineup on the week and taking home the top prize of $175,000.

Week 17 of the Sunday Million saw rahuld76 hold off timmytbow for a 6 point victory as he scored a 187.58 point week and claimed the top prize of $175,000. His team had an unconventional QB/RB stack of Eli Manning and Rashad Jennings from the New York Giants. As others flocked to the stack of Manning and Beckham Jr, he zig zagged to the unlikely duo of Manning and Jennings. Manning was 18% owned and Jennings was 9.6% owned at prices of $7,500 and $5,800. He also went with Tim Hightower as his RB2 at just $7,000 and he scored a nice 19.2 points.
At WR it was spend up with Antonio Brown and Julio Jones who were both over $9,000 and both scored some big points at 34% owned each. Brown was the pick at WR this week after coming off a disappointing Week 16 performance as he scored 29.2 points this week. Pierre Garcon was the play at WR3 at at just $6,000 and a 1.2% ownership he scored 12.40 points.
His team featured Zach Ertz at tight end for just $5,700 and he scored a position high of 19.70 points. He also hit it perfect at the Defense position with the Houston Texans at $4,800 and they scored a remarkable 29 points and more surprisingly were only owned by 4.1% of the field. At kicker it was a $4,600 Nick Novak that got the job done with 16 points and a 3.2% ownership rate.

The quarterback position this week was a lot of Ben Roethlisberger who found his way onto 4 of the top 10 teams. Matthew Stafford was the only other QB that was on multiple teams as he was on two and the rest of the QBs in the top 10 were Eli Manning, Sam Bradford, Matt Ryan and Brian Hoyer.
The top ten teams in the Sunday Million had a lot of Rashad Jennings as he found his way onto 9 of the teams. Tim Hightower, Devonta Freeman were the other two popular choices and rounding out some of the other teams was Danny Woodhead, James White, Jeremy Hill and Curtis Artis-Payne. At wide receiver it was Antonio Brown on the first nine teams and lots of Julio Jones, Jeremy Maclin, and Jordan Matthews as they all put up some high scores. Some of the other WRs to make the list were Pierre Garcon, Cole Beasley, Eric Decker, Brandin Cooks, Calvin Johnson, Jarvis Landry, Odell Beckham Jr and Branden Marshall.
At tight end this week it was Zach Ertz on 7 out of the 10 teams with Ben Watson, Heath Miller, and Eric Ebron on the other three. At defense every team in the top 10 had the Houston Texans as they rolled with 29 FanDuel points. There were five different kickers used with Novak, Boswell, McManus, Walsh, and Nugent to round out the top ten rosters.
