Week 14 of the FanDuel Sunday Million was another high scoring one as the quarterback and wide receiver positions scored big. First place and the $175,000 prize went to wakely with 205.48 points as he beat out second place team mres who had 200.28 points. With over a 5 point victory wakely had a very nice combo of players who gave him a huge advantage over the field.
He put together a lineup with a Russell Wilson and Doug Baldwin stack at fairly modest prices of $8,500 and $6,800 as the two have been one of the best QB/WR duos over the past few weeks and the trend continued once again against a weak Ravens secondary. He had the ultimate trio at WR with Beckham Jr and Marshall with Baldwin as the three of them scored a total of 82.8 FanDuel points. He found some great value at RB with Tim Hightower at minimum price $4,500 and he was only 4% owned and game him 16 points to build around. He added a modest priced Lamar Miller at $6,600 and he scored 20.90 points.
Wakely did leave $300 of salary on the table and that might have made his roster a bit more unique than some of the others as sometimes it is hard to let yourself leave any money leftover. At tight end he hit the nail on the head with Jordan Reed at $5,900 for 22.50 points as the top play at the position. He went with Graham Gano at kicker and he scored the least points out of any player on his team at only 8 points. The Panthers defense was the play and were only owned by 7.2% of the field and scored 23.0 points.
Position | Player | Salary | FanDuel Points | % Owned |
QB | Russell Wilson | $8,500 | 32.28 | 9.1% |

RB | Tim Hightower | $4,500 | 16.00 | 4.0% |
WR | Odell Beckham Jr | $9,300 | 32.10 | 24.7% |
WR | Doug Baldwin | $6,800 | 29.20 | 17.2% |
WR | Brandon Marshall | $8,200 | 21.50 | 15.8% |
TE | Jordan Reed | $5,900 | 22.50 | 5.0% |
K | Graham Gano | $4,900 | 8.00 | 10.3% |
D | Carolina Panthers | $5,000 | 23.00 | 7.2% |
$59,700 | 205.48 |
The quarterback position was dominated by either Russell Wilson or Eli Manning this week as Wilson was on 4 out of the top 10 teams and Manning on 5 with Blake Bortles being on the lone other team. At running back it was a good mix of players with Lamar Miller being the most popular being rostered on 6 of the top 10 teams. The only other multi entry RBs were Todd Gurley, Eddie Lacy, and DeAngelo Williams who were all rostered by 2 teams each. Tim Hightower, James White, Thomas Rawls, LeSean McCoy, Matt Forte, Doug Martin, Isiah Crowell and Shaun Draughn were all single entries in the top 10.
Wide Reciever was a different story as Odell Beckham Jr was a must as all 10 teams safely had him rostered. Doug Baldwin was the next in line as he was rostered by 8 teams and the two teams that didn't have Baldwin went with Tyler Lockett. Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery were two other popular choices as they showed up on two teams each. The single entry WRs were DeMaryius Thomas, Sammy Watkins, Allen Hurns and Ted Ginn Jr.
Jordan Reed was the play at tight end and was on all top 5 teams and also the 9th place team. The other TEs used were Benjamin Watson, Zack Miller, Antonio Gates and Delanie Walker. The kicker spot was made up of 7 different kickers with Gano, Nugent, Myers, Gostkowski, Boswell, Novak and Barth. Finally the defense position was only three teams with Carolina on 5 teams, Kansas City on 3 and Seattle on the other 2.
