WEEK 8 PLAYS
Josh Jacobs Over 75.5 Rushing Yards
On the surface, Cleveland’s run defense looks incredibly solid as they have only allowed one running back to rush for more than 60 yards this season. However, if you look deeper into this, you’ll see that the Browns have not faced any running backs of Josh Jacobs caliber and the only running back who was close is James Conner who had 101 rushing yards against the Browns. The linebackers continue to be a problem for Cleveland and the Raiders who boast a talented offensive line should be able to control the Browns strong defensive line in this one putting a lot of pressure on the Browns linebacking group.
Darrell Henderson Over 60.5 Rushing Yards
Darrell Henderson has consistently seen the bulk of the carries for the Rams as Cam Akers continues to not have a role on this team. Henderson has had 14 or more carries in four of his last five contests averaging 14.4 carries during that time. Henderson gets to face a Dolphins defense that has struggled to stop the run allowing 5.0 yards per carry. In a game that is projected to be a lopsided win for the Rams, expect Henderson to see significant volume in this one.
Denzel Mims Over 3.5 Receptions -130
Rookie Denzel Mims made his debut last week after missing the start of the season due to injury. In a game that the Jets only threw 23 times, Mims saw 7 targets catching 4 passes. This is a spot where the Chiefs will force the Jets to throw the ball much more than 23 times as the Jets are 21 point underdogs. With no Jamison Crowder, Breshad Perriman, the Jets are down to just Mims, Jeff Smith, and Braxton Berrios as their healthy wide receivers. Expect the Jets to continue to see what they have in the rookie wide receiver to determine whether he is an option long-term.
Matthew Stafford Under 274.5 Passing Yards
This is a bit of a confusing line as Stafford is not the high volume player that we have seen in past years as he has thrown for over 270 yards just twice this season and is facing a Colts defense that for the most part has been very good against the pass. Outside of Week 6 against the Bengals, the Colts have not allowed a quarterback to top 250 yards and are allowing just 211 on the season. Xavier Rhodes has lead this defense along with the rebuilt defensive line in Indianapolis. Expect this to be a lower scoring game than what Vegas is expecting.
Henry Ruggs Under 33.5 Receiving Yards-
The weather is expected to be horrible in Cleveland tomorrow with winds up to 30+ MPH. Ruggs has been the deep threat for Las Vegas this year averaging 20 air yards per target. Ruggs will also draw a difficult matchup against Denzel Ward who is one of the few cornerbacks in the NFL that has the speed to keep up with the Alabama speedster. This is a spot where Ruggs could very easily be held without a reception.
Check back throughout the weekend for any additional props particularly this week as weather will play a significant factor in some late value that could pop up.
