Offensive Line Rankings and Notes: Week 7

Offensive line related news, injuries and updates, prior to week seven of the regular season.

UPGRADES

Pittsburgh up 8

All-Pro right guard David Decastro returned to practice this week in a limited fashion. Decastro has been dealing with an abdomen injury, and while rookie Kevin Dotson has been excellent in relief, the veteran represents a notable upgrade to almost any lineup. All hands appear to be on deck for this week's big AFC matchup against Tennessee and signs point to Decastro getting the start in the pivotal road game. In related news, center Maurkice Pouncey returned to action last week against Cleveland and was part of a dominant rushing effort that led to three touchdowns on the ground. Pouncey was pulled from the game after 83% of snaps (J.C Hassenauer saw some garbage time). Pouncey has been rested this week by the coaches, but he too should be ready for Tennessee. The Steelers' line carries an elite grade in the latest rankings.
