IDP Sleepers, Week 15

A compilation of Individual Defensive Players Sleepers for week 15 of the NFL season.

As the season progresses it is hard to find those diamonds in the rough or that guy that no one has heard of. This week we are going to examine the plethora of injuries across the league and who the most likely successor is to that starting job as well as highlight some prime matchups as well as surprising performers to this point. This article will also highlight a few long-term and speculative players that could see their value rise over the course of the season.

LB David Long Jr (TEN vs DET):

It may seem like a big reach after long only had 5 tackles last week, but Tennessee only faced 15 rushing attempts the entire game against Jacksonville. The most important things to note are that Long was calling the defensive plays and he played 100% of defensive snaps. The Lions are still going to throw the ball 40 times this week, but they have also run the ball more the past few weeks than at any other point in the season. Adrian Peterson and D'Andre Swift continue to get carries despite the game script and there should be plenty of tackle opportunities for Long.
