Which Wide Receiver Storylines Are The Most Lineup-Influencing for Week 8?

Corey Davis is back, indeed. Ryan Tannehill may not be much better than Marcus Mariota, but that won't matter against the Buccaneers. Davis is worth playing. As to A.J. Brown, I think as a GPP play for people who build a diverse set of lineups (multi-entry), he makes sense. But not as a core play.

  • DeAndre Hopkins: Still feels like he is simmering even with 9-106-1 in Week 7. Where are the big plays? Will Fuller V out. Strong matchup against Oakland.
The Raiders just traded Gareon Conley for a 3rd round pick, which leaves the Raiders less ready to defend the Texans passing attack. Hopkins is always in play, although at his price I prefer Michael Thomas.

  • JuJu Smith-Schuster: Season-high game upcoming against hapless Miami? Smith-Schuster yet to surpass 85 yards in a game or log more than seven receptions.
The Steelers are justifiably big favorites against Miami, but it's hard to trust the offense without Ben Roethlisberger. I can see Smith-Schuster in a "get right" game, but I wouldn't invest in that outcome heavily.

T.Y. Hilton is in play, because the price is too attractive for his talents in spite of the matchup.
