DFS Roundtable: Tight End Matchups

The DFS team discusses tight end matchups for Week 11 lineups

Which overtly strong and weak matchups are you using to influence your DFS lineups and exposure in Week 11?

Strong Matchups

Weak Matchups

Strong Matchups

49ers If George Kittle is healthy in this prime matchup against the Cardinals I want to be heavily invested in him. It is hard to find a better tight end in the game right now and this is also the best matchup possible.
Jared Cook is intriguing especially as there is not really a WR2 type of player on the Saints so his targets increased to 10 against the Falcons last week.
I just want to be looking at Golladay/Jones on the Lions right now, so Hockenson won’t be an option for me.
Outside of my slim exposure to Joe Mixon I really don’t want much to do with the Bengals offense and predicting if one of their tight ends has a breakout game is not the route I want to go.

Weak Matchups

Cardinals – Do the Cardinals throw to their tight ends? No thanks.
Dolphins – Bad team and bad matchup so this is an easy avoid for me this week in Mike Gesicki.
RavensMark Andrews is worth a play every week as he is averaging 7.3 targets a game and has five touchdowns on the season. You are looking for your tight end to find the end zone and even in a tough matchup Andrews has a decent shot at that.
Eagles – The Patriots like to take out the opposing teams best player on offense and this week that could be Zach Ertz. I suspect that the Eagles will try to counter with plenty of two tight end sets and Dallas Goedert might benefit from the tight coverage on Ertz.
