INJURY ROUNDS

Cooper Kupp | Left ACL tear | Out for season

The mechanism of Kupp's knee injury was classic for an ACL tear. Sean McVay and Kupp's teammates were uniformly worried about Kupp's status after the game. Though it's the same knee Kupp suffered an MCL sprain in October, the injuries are mostly unrelated. Kupp's Sunday injury would likely have occurred regardless of his previous injury. It is possible that Kupp's MCL injury was aggravated yesterday, as ACL tears sometimes stress the MCL and meniscus, too. Expect the Rams to confirm an ACL tear -- and an end to Kupp's season -- on Monday.

Monday Update: The Rams confirmed Kupp tore his ACL.

Joe Flacco | Hip injury | Week-to-Week | Doubtful Week 11

Baltimore had an eventful bye week. By mid-week, multiple reports had Flacco using crutches to bear weight and visiting specialists to discuss options after a Week 9 hip injury. There were no specifics provided on the injury Flacco played through last week and every possible return timetable was reported -- from season-ending surgery to no games missed. The crutches aren't a good prognostic sign for his Week 11 availability. Monday's team press conference may provide more information.
