Looking to dominate your office pool this season? Fifteen Footballguys.com staff members are here to help you out. Each week they will pick the winners of every NFL game, and rank their selections based on how confident they are that the team will win. The most-confident pick gets 16 points, and the least-confident gets just 1. We'll even total up everyone's picks so you can get an overall consensus on who our staff think will be the most likely winners. Each week we'll announce the weekly winners, and track the overall record for the entire season. A couple of things to note before we get to the picks:
- Picks for this pool are straight up (no point spread considered).
- Picks are due on Wednesday nights, and will not reflect any late-breaking news. If your league allows for last minute changes, please make adjustments to your office pool accordingly.
- Our staffers also play in weekly picks Against The Spread, and Survivor Style 'Pick one Winner each week' formats as well. Check out the other weekly articles for more help with those type of games.
RESULTS FROM LAST WEEK
Record scores from the top of the leaderboard as a couple of the staff crack 100 for the first time this season. Danny Tuccitto only missed the Panthers and the Bengals this week, posting an impressive 104 points out of a possible 120. However, despite missing both of those games and the Colts, our overall leader Dave Larkin finished with 106 points for the week. Pretty impressive given some of the upsets that happened this week.

As mentioned above, the Panthers and Bengals both lost this week, costing the staff 173 points on those two games alone. Add in the Chicago and Jacksonville losses, and a total of 360 confidence points were lost on just 4 games.
OVERALL RANKINGS
Larkin recorded his second weekly victory and extended his lead in the overall contest to 17 points. Tuccitto moved into second place, passing Brimacombe because he only scored 91 points this week. As we start to head into the bye weeks where four teams are off each week, it's going to be harder and harder to make big moves in the overall contest.

HEAVY FAVORITES
This week we only had four unanimous selections by the entire staff. The Chargers, Eagles, Colts, and Falcons were all picked to win by everyone in this weeks' contest. The Vikings, Jaguars, and Rams were also picked by a majority of the board, giving us seven teams out of 14 games that are heavy favorites.
DUAL SUPPORT
Detroit returns from their bye week and heads to Miami where the Bears dropped a tough loss under the same circumstances the week before. As Brock Osweiler will be under center for the Dolphins again, the staff had a hard time with this game - picking the Lions as a slight favorite: 38 to 35. Dallas travels to Washington in a hated division matchup of two teams that blow hot and cold this season. Washington has slightly more support than Dallas does this week, but the entire game had just 44 total confidence points wagered on it - this week's lowest match. New Orleans returns from a bye to face a Baltimore defense that set a franchise record for sacks in a single game against Tennessee last week. Teams returning from a bye are 1-3 so far, with Carolina narrowly winning their game on a 60+ yard field goal as time expired. The Saints and the Lions will try to reverse that trend, but the staff clearly don't trust either team.
ODDS AND ENDS
Four teams are on a bye this week, dropping the maximum possible score to just 105 confidence points.
Good luck this weekend!
