VALUE PLAYS
A fantasy draft is all about obtaining the most value with each selection. There is value available throughout a draft, and grabbing it is one of the most important keys to a successful fantasy team. In an attempt to point out this value, we asked our staff to look through the top 150 players and identify players that should outperform their draft position. Here are links to each position's page:
Quarterbacks
Players mentioned include Eli Manning, Ben Roethlisberger, and Ryan Tannehill.
Running Backs
Players mentioned include Justin Forsett, Frank Gore, and C.J. Spiller.
Wide Receivers
Players mentioned include Nelson Agholor, Steve Smith, and Mike Wallace.
Tight Ends
Players mentioned include Kyle Rudolph, Jordan Cameron, and Josh Hill.
OVERVALUED PLAYERS
The flip side of succeeding with value players is failing with overvalued players. These are players that will not put up stats commensurate to their draft spot, and avoiding them is another of the important keys to a successful fantasy team. In an attempt to point out these players, we asked our staff to look through the top 150 players and identify players that should underperform their draft position. Here are links to each position's page:
Quarterbacks
Players mentioned include Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, and Sam Bradford.
Running Backs
Players mentioned include Todd Gurley, LeSean McCoy, and Carlos Hyde.
Wide Receivers
Players mentioned include Sammy Watkins, Kelvin Benjamin, and Jarvis Landry.
Tight Ends
Players mentioned include Julius Thomas, Josh Hill, and Martellus Bennett.
DEEP SLEEPERS
Finally, we specifically target deep sleeper value (players that can be found very late in a fantasy draft). In an attempt to point out this value, we asked our staff to look deeper than the top 150 players and identify players that should significantly outperform their late draft position. These players should be your targets after the 12th round of your draft. Here are links to each position's page:
Quarterbacks
Players mentioned include Robert Griffin III, Jameis Winston, and Geno Smith.
Running Backs
Players mentioned include DeAngelo Williams, James White, and Javorius Allen.
Wide Receivers
