WR DeAndre Hopkins (HOU) drew extensive praise Sunday, Jan. 6, in head coach Bill O'Brien's season-ending news conference. "I don't think there was anybody better in the league," O'Brien said. "Every team knew that we were going to him on every play."

WR DeAndre Hopkins (HOU) suffered a Grade 3 AC joint sprain in the first half of the Texans' Wild Card playoff loss. Hopkins has been dealing with various injuries all season long, but this shoulder injury did impact his play. Hopkins said he played through a lot of pain in the second half but didn't want to come out of the game. Hopkins said he won't require offseason surgery.

TE Trey Burton (CHI) said Monday, Jan. 7, that he missed the club's Wild Card playoff game Sunday, Jan. 6, after he "started to feel something" in his groin following practice Friday, Jan. 4, despite initially having no limitations. By Saturday, Jan. 5, it had "locked up," which he said was his "body's way of handling threats" to his health.

TE Zach Miller (CHI) has resumed jogging. After nearly losing his leg in a game against the New Orleans Saints last year, Miller has said he would like to play football again.
