1. Why do you charge for Inside Access?

In a perfect world, we would be 100% free and have enough money to pay our writers and developers and continuously improve. But reality says otherwise. And that reality is that we have to charge about one dollar a week during the season to do all the things we believe are essential to have a top-notch website. If that's too much, enjoy the site and take advantage of our free content through July 15th. If you think just over one dollar a week is fair, sign up and get access to everything we offer all year long.

2. Why did you decide to make the free/pay cutoff date for the website July 15th?

This allows us to continue to show you what we are all about. Our interest has always been to promote the hobby of fantasy football. This includes education through tools, articles, etc. By July 15th we will likely have released everything for the preseason at least once. We feel by going to July 15th, we give solid information (a month and a half better than most magazines print date) for free and have earned the right to compete for your subscription services.

3. Are there any features that go behind the fence before July 15th?

Our VBD Excel Application, Draft Dominator, Projections Dominator will release one free version only. We feel this is adequate to see what these applications can do. Subscribers get constant updates on all of these products. Matt Waldman's full Rookie Scouting Report is also behind the fence and only available to Insiders.

4. What is the Early-Bird Discount?

It is a way to get the subscription for just $23.95. We offer it until May 15th only. After May 15th, the subscription costs $27.95

5. Why $27.95? Why not $5 or $10?

We felt this price represented value to our customers and at the same time was enough money for us to afford our servers, pay our writers and successfully grow the company. We think approxmately a dollar a week is affordable to most people.

6. Explain the three-year option for $62.95?

For a limited time, we are offering three-year subscriptions for $62.95. This allows people to save considerable money by making a longer term commitment with us.

7. What happens to my three-year subscription should I cancel after 1 year?

If cancelled after one season (for any reason), we will refund you $40. If cancelled after two years (for any reason), we will refund you $20.

8. I will never pay.

OK.

9. I mean it. I'll never pay.

OK. Really, it's OK. There are some that will never pay. We understand that. Some won't think our site is worth the $27.95 yearly subscription. We disagree, but understand that too. If you are one of those guys, enjoy our site until July 15th. Additionally, check out our sister website TodayinFantasy.com that logs everything free in the fantasy football space. Both are way better than that $7.99 magazine, and they are 100% free. Also enjoy the Message Boards and News Blogger as they will remain free year around. Our email newsletter also remains free and will now go through the entire NFL season.

10. Will Footballguys.com be better in 2010?

We believe in continuous improvement and this year will be no different. We published over 50,000 pages of content the last two years and will do even more things this year. In the end you are the judge to whether our material is of sufficient quantity and quality.

11. How do I login?

Just go to http://subscribers.footballguys.com/amember/login.php and login with your email address and password that you signed up with. This will bring you to http://subscribers.footballguys.com/2010/page2.php and will allow you access to all dollar sign content.

12. Will the computer remember me when I come back?

Cookies are set at two weeks. So once you login, you can just go to http://footballguys.com/amember/page2.php and access everything for those 14 days. If this isn't working for you, make sure your computer is set to accept cookies.

13. Can I logout?

You can logout by clicking here: http://footballguys.com/amember/logout.php. If you previously could login and now can not, you should logout and then log back in as this can clear cookies problems a lot of the times.

14. I can't remember my password

http://subscribers.footballguys.com/amember/login.php will email you your password.

15. I have paid, but I can't login

Send an email to subscription@footballguys.com for resolution. Sending an email to Joe Bryant and/or David Dodds will not speed up getting access as they will soon be getting nearly a thousand emails a day on varying topics. For fastest processing include your confirmation receipt that was emailed to you.

16. I am not sure I paid because the window went blank, etc

The way we have written the code, you will get an email confirmation if you have paid. If you did not receive this confirmation, your order was not completed and your credit card was not charged. If you believe this is in error, please email subscription@footballguys.com for resolution.

17. I accidentally ordered twice

Send both confirmations to subscription@footballguys.com for reimbursement on the additional order.

18. I need to change my email address or password

http://footballguys.com/amember/profile.php allows you to change your email and/or password.

19. I have subscribed, but I am not receiving the free email updates

The free updates do not require a subscription. You are not put on the free email list just by subscribing. Sign up for them on the updates tab

21. What is available to me if I do not subscribe?

Most content created before July 15th remains free

The first August update is free

TodayinFantasy.com, our sister website, is free all year long.
