Footballguys Staff Bio: Clayton Gray

Clayton Gray's mug

Age: 37

Birthplace: Winston-Salem, NC

Education: BS in Mathematics from the University of Central Arkansas

Occupation: Footballguy

Hometown: Little Rock, AR

Family: Married to Holly for almost 15 years, and we have a wonderful five-year old named Aidan

Years playing fantasy football: This will be my 18th year playing. My first pick was Jerry Rice.

Favorite FF smack talk: Not much for smack, but I like waiting a few seconds after a poor pick before saying, "Oh. Finally found that guy."

Years writing about fantasy football: This will be my 12th year writing.

Favorite FBG feature: Draft Dominator. It makes it super easy to have a great draft.

Organized football experience: Played in seventh grade as a wide receiver and probably saw half the snaps (because I brought the play in every other down).

Favorite NFL team: Growing up, I was a Cowboys fan, and for a while, I liked the Chiefs due to Derrick Thomas. Now, there really isn't a team that I pull for.

Favorite college team: Arkansas Razorbacks

Favorite fan moment: Scotty Thurman hitting the three with 53 seconds remaining against Duke in the 1994 Championship.

Favorite player of all time: All-time favorites are Tony Dorsett and Derrick Thomas

NFL rule(s) I would change if I could: I would allow celebrations.

Favorite movie(s): Die Hard, Christmas Vacation, and Old School

Favorite musical genres/albums/artists: I'm a metal head - Metallica, In Flames, Ozzy, Into Eternity, Nevermore, Slayer, Iced Earth, Meshuggah, Pantera, Iron Maiden, Killswitch Engage, Lamb Of God, etc.

What I read: You mean books? Umm...poker books I guess. Not much of a reader though.

Hobbies: Poker.

Favorite TV show(s): South Park, 24 and Family Guy

Least favorite household chore: I absolutely loathe folding clothes.

Dream job: Besides this, it would have be owner or president of an NFL franchise.

Quote: "I don't know." - Jeff Spicoli

Parting thoughts: It's times like this (and the quote above) that makes me realize I'm not really into deep thinking. Oh well.
