Birthplace: Fort Worth Texas

Occupation: Healthcare Data & Analytics

Hometown: Fort Worth

Family: Married with three kiddos.

Years playing fantasy football: 23

Favorite FF smack talk: When someone makes a selection at the live draft - "I am going to have to write his name down on my list so I can mark him off."

Years writing about fantasy football: Off and on for 20 years... seriously for one year.

Favorite FBG feature: The DFS Lineup Optimizer - provides a quick and easy way to play around with different roster construction ideas.

Organized football experience: Early high school

Favorite NFL team: Dallas Cowboys

Favorite college team: I love watching when I can, but no favorite team.

Favorite fan moment: Anytime I get to go to a game with my dad. He raised me on football but never went until a live game until we were adults.

Favorite player of all time: Troy Aikman

NFL rule(s) I would change if I could: Nothing specific, but at some point, the league has to help out defenders. Most rules are aimed at enhancing offense.

Favorite movie(s): Tombstone

Favorite musical genres/albums/artists: Americana - Jason Isbell, Sturgill Simpson, Tyler Childers, Jamestown Revival, Ryan Bingham

What I read: Anything that can be learned and applied in life.

Hobbies: Guitar, Poker, Fantasy Football

Favorite TV show(s): NFL Redzone

Least favorite household chore: Folding Laundry

Dream job: I love figuring out why things are the way they are - naturally, that draws me to data, analytics, and strategy type roles. Anytime I am doing those things I am happy. Applying those things to football is the ultimate.

Quote: Your opinion, although interesting, is irrelevant. A quote I learned in one of the best product management classes I ever went through with a company called Pragmatic Marketing. It is all about truly understanding what problems are most worth solving, and the best way to solve them.

Parting thoughts: You do you.

Biggest fantasy football accomplishments: Before joining Footballguys I was very successful in the Football Guys Players Championship through Fantasy Football Players Championship. I have finished in the Top 5 three times in a five-year span in a field of 8,400. Also finished seventh in the Fantasy Football Open Championship in 2008.
