Age: 37

Birthplace: Coon Rapids, MN

Education: B.A. in Business, Bethel University, M.B.A. in Marketing/Management, University of St. Thomas

Occupation: Founder and CEO, mapformation, LLC (www.mapformation.com)

Hometown: Springfield, MN, USA

Family: Married (Becky) with two daughters, Libby and Ellie

Years playing fantasy football: More than I can remember...but playing seriously since around 2001.

Favorite FF smack talk: "I'm not a play-ah....I just crush a lot."

Years writing about fantasy football: One year at Xpert Sports, a few freelance articles at FBGs, and a News Blogger at FBGs since the Spring of 2005.

Favorite FBG feature: Player rankings...so I can see what half those guys are thinking as I prepare to enter a few drafts in leagues that we all are in. :-) Seriously though, player rankings and the sortable info and the way it is broken down between dynasty and redraft is a big, BIG help to me.

Organized football experience: Never allowed to play organized football as a child (too busy working out on my grandparents' farm). Always wanted to be a punter or a safety though.

Favorite NFL team: Minnesota Vikings. Skol Vikings!

Favorite college team: University of Minnesota Golden Gophers

Favorite fan moment: Dec. 14, 1980. I was nine years old. The Vikings were trailing the Cleveland Browns 23-9 with around five minutes to go, and Tommy Kramer lead the Vikings to three TDs, including a last-second desperation Hail Mary pass to Ahmad Rashad to steal a win, 28-23.

Favorite player of all time: Former player? Probably Walter Payton. Current player? Probably Adrian Peterson. Peterson has some SICK moves and about ten helpings of natural talent which should hopefully make him fun to watch for years to come.

NFL rule(s) I would change if I could: Tuck rule. Too subjective, if you ask me. It's either a fumble or it isn't.

Favorite movie(s): Impossible to list just one, as there are about 50-60 that all could and should make a strong case for top-billing.

Favorite musical genres/albums/artists: Anything but new country...although Jack Johnson is always up around the top of my list. http://www.pandora.com/?sc=sh8176132

What I read: Blogs and articles that deal with politics, technology, entrepreneurship, science and astronomy.

Hobbies: Disc golf, riding roller coasters, swimming with my daughters, and last but CERTAINLY not least, fantasy football!

Favorite TV show(s): Whatever happens to be on between the Discovery Channel, Science Channel, History Channel and National Geographic Channel.

Least favorite household chore: Toilets...hands down.

Dream job: Designing better maps and wayfinding resources for the blind...without ever having to worry about whether I made a dime in the process.

Quote: "We're all experts and we're all idiots...it just depends upon what is being discussed at any given moment."

Parting thoughts: If you don't like how something is, get off your lazy, unmotivated butt and make it better! :-)
