Quick fantasy outlook: LaMarr Woodley's production in 2012 was the lowest since he was a part time player in his rookie season of 2007. Much of the lacking production can be attributed to his battling injuries throughout the season, but there has been some speculation that a lack of commitment by Woodley and questionable conditioning was also a contributor. With an offseason to recover Woodley will be healthy entering 2013, so there are no excuses. If his former production returns Woodley will still provide only marginal or scoring system specific fantasy value. He has never recorded more that 50 solo tackles in a season but is certainly capable of double digit sacks. In leagues that emphasize big play production Woodley is a valuable commodity. For balanced or tackle heavy scoring leagues, he is barely worthy of roster consideration.
