Summary

J.J. Watt continues to amaze and be the top option at DE in both tackle and big-play-heavy formats. He tied his personal record of 20.5 sacks in a season and also nearly matched his best tackle numbers. As if that wasn't enough for fantasy owners, Watt even scored the occasion offensive touchdown playing TE in the red zone. It has been argued by some that Watt's IDP numbers in 2014 are not sustainable and he will "regress to the mean." However, with other parts of the pass rush improving (Wilfork creating more pressure up front and Clowney's return to the field), it is not outlandish to think that Watt could again post career-best numbers this year. Watt remains in a tier of his own. (April 25)
