Summary

The Colts signed veteran running back Spencer Ware via free agency in the offseason. He adds another layer of depth to an improving Colts running game, but it appears unlikely that he will have fantasy value with Marlon Mack and Jordan Wilkins ahead of him on the depth chart. There's also Nyheim Hines in the flanker role. Ware had a chance to earn the role in Kansas City when Kareem Hunt was suspended, but he failed to make a difference, which ultimately led to the Chiefs passing on him. He signed a one-year, $1.3 million deal and appears to be more of a depth pickup for the Colts. (May 23)
