Main      Career stats      Game Logs      Latest News

Ware was one of the many splashes the Broncos made this offseason to try to improve their defense. The 31 year-old pass rusher was once one of the truly elite defenders in the league but his production fell of drastically in 2013. Ware poster double digit sack totals (including 20 in 2008 and 19.5 as recently as 2011) in every season from 2006-2012. In 2013 he played 13 games due to injuries and got to the quarterback just 6 times. Ware has seen his tackle numbers fall each of the last three years and may be better served at this stage of his career solely as a pass rusher. If Von Miller is healthy and on the other side of the field it would help Ware greatly. (May 16)

Broncos | Quanterus Smith impressing coaches and players (Sun Aug 17, 02:21 AM) - Denver Broncos DE Quanterus Smith, who missed all of last season due to injury, has impressed coaches with his ability to come off the edge of the line and hamper offenses. It has impressed veterans like DE DeMarcus Ware, who said 'When you think about the guy who has all the talent and is really a great player, that's what I think of with Quanterus.'

Our View: Smith is a terrific stash in deep IDP dynasty or sack-heavy IDP dynasty leagues. He abused San Diego Chargers starting RT and high first-round pick DJ Fluker famously in college.
