2014 Week 3 vs CHI (1 / 1 / 15 / 0 rec)

2014 Week 13 vs MIA (1 / 1 / 20 / 0 rec)
Jace Amaro missed the game due to concussion-like symptoms, so Sudfeld received a few additional snaps. During the third quarter on a 3rd-and-5 play, Sudfeld ran a quick out-route, dodged the firs tackler, and ran into the open field for a 20-yard gain.
2014 Week 17 vs MIA (2 / 2 / 44 / 0 rec)
Zach Sudfeld had a long reception of 38 yards on a 4th down play fake. New York was in a punt formation and Miami sold out to block the punt. Sudfeld leaked out into the middle of the field, easily caught the pass from punter, Ryan Qugiley and ran untouched for 38 yards. Sudfeld was brought down by a shoe lace tackle.
2013 Week 1 vs BUF (1 / 0 / 0 / 0 rec)
Remember when everyone and their mother was saying Sudfeld was going to be a TE1 as long as Rob Gronkowski was out? Sudfeld played all of 19 snaps and was targeted exactly once. That target bounced off his hands and resulted in a Tom Brady interception. Whoops. Sudfeld was a darling sleeper in the offseason, but it's clear he has a long way to go to be trusted as a tight end worth starting in fantasy circles. On the day, the Patriots operated mostly out of the three wide receiver set.
2013 Week 8 vs CIN (2 / 2 / 10 / 0 rec)
Zach Sudfeld secured his first career reception during the third quarter. Sudfeld ran a simple drag route for a five-yard gain. During the fourth quarter, Sudfeld secured a five-yard gain on another drag route. It's worth noting that Sudfeld only played when the game was already decided.
2013 Week 9 vs NO (4 / 2 / 46 / 0 rec)
Jeff Cumberland and Kellen Winslow were both inactive, so Sudfeld became more involved in the game plan. Midway through the second quarter, Sudfeld ran a seam route and hauled in Josh Cribbs' halfback throw a 25-yard gain. During New York's second quarter two minute drill, Sudfeld caught another seam pass for a 21-yard gain. Sudfeld was able to gain inside position on Kenny Vaccaro and secure the catches.
2013 Week 17 vs MIA (1 / 1 / 7 / 0 rec)
