Recent Game Summaries
2015 Week 17 vs CAR (1 / 1 / 3 / 0 rec)
Stocker held down his usual blocking duties and caught his only target of the day for a 3 yard gain in the 2nd quarter.
2015 Week 16 vs CHI (1 / 1 / 7 / 0 rec)
Stocker was active as the 3rd tight end behind ASJ and Brate, with Brandon Myers being a healthy scratch. He operated primarily as an in-line blocking TE and caught his only target of the day, a short TE screen in the first quarter that picked up a 1st down on 2nd and 4.
2015 Week 15 vs LA (3 / 3 / 25 / 1 rec)
Stocker was active as third tight end and Brandon Myers inactive again, as has been the case since the return of Austin Seferian-Jenkins. Stocker operated primarily as an in-line blocker, but made the most of his targets, catching all 3 for 20 yards and Winston's second touchdown of the day. Stocker caught a touchdown on a short route while lined up inline in the 4th quarter, one play after recovering a Donteea Dye fumble.
2015 Week 14 vs NO (0 / 0 / 0 / 0 rec)
Brandon Myers was again inactive as Stocker slid into the 3rd tight end spot behind ASJ and Brate. Stocker was primarily used as a blocker and on special teams. He did not receive any targets in the passing game.
2015 Week 13 vs ATL (1 / 1 / 4 / 0 rec)
Operated primarily as a blocker, both inline and in the backfield as a fullback and H-back. Had a great lead block to spring Charles Sims for the biggest rushing play of the day in the 3rd quarter. Stocker secured his only target of the day, a short out route from the left inline TE position for a gain of 4 yards.
2015 Week 12 vs IND (1 / 0 / 0 / 0 rec)
Stocker saw plenty of snaps as a blocker, but the tight end receiving work all went to Cameron Brate.
2015 Week 11 vs PHI (0 / 0 / 0 / 0 rec)
Stocker saw extensive work as an in-line blocker in 2-TE sets, occasionally lining up in the backfield as well. He was not targeted in week 11.
2015 Week 10 vs DAL (1 / 0 / 0 / 0 rec)
Stocker worked primarily as a blocker and had his only target knocked from his hands in the 4th quarter, failing to convert 3rd and 12.
2015 Week 8 vs ATL (1 / 0 / 0 / 0 rec)
Stocker lost snaps to fellow tight ends Myers and Brate, and only saw 1 target in overtime. He failed to haul in the ball on an out route.
2015 Week 7 vs WAS (4 / 3 / 22 / 0 rec)
Stocker, back after missing a couple of weeks with an injury, hauled in 3 of 4 passes for minimal yardage. They were his first receptions of the season. Stocker saw increased targets as the Bucs were down to only 3 active wide receivers after Louis Murphy went down in the 1st quarter, and 2 after Vincent Jackson's 4th quarter injury. Stocker is a moderately effective blocker, but it's clear that Tampa Bay isn't going to get a lot of offensive production from the tight end position until the return of starter Austin-Seferian Jenkins.
2015 Week 3 vs HOU (0 / 0 / 0 / 0 rec)
Stocker was announced as the "starter" at tight end with Austin-Seferian Jenkins out, but Brandon Myers saw more snaps and targets on offense. Stocker was used primarily as a blocker, as the Bucs used a lot of two-TE and TE/H-back sets. Stocker did not see any targets in the passing game.
