Week 4: vs Denver Broncos
Mark and Joe say: Tough matchup. Jameis Winston had a 'boom' outing against the Rams, throwing for an enormous 36/58 yielding 405 yards passing, three TDs and one interception thrown, while taking two sacks for -16 yards. Eight different players caught at least one pass, led by Mike Evans (13 targets for 10/132/1 receiving) and Adam Humphries (12 for 9/100/0) - entrenched starting tight end Cameron Brate celebrated the release of rival Austin Seferian-Jenkins with 10 targets for 5/46/2 receiving, while Charles Sims handled eight for 6/69/0 receiving. Vincent Jackson helped out some (six targets for 3/37/0 receiving) but seems to have fallen behind Evans and Humphries in the pecking order at wide receiver. The Buccaneers come into Week Four with the wind in their sails in this phase of the game. The Broncos' pass defense ranks fourth in the NFL averaging 178.3 net passing yards allowed per game, with two passing scores given away vs. three interceptions and 12 sacks generated (second-most sacks in the NFL through three games). Over the first three weeks of the season, Denver has averaged 17.5 fantasy points allowed per game to opposing quarterbacks (11th-least in the NFL); and 14 fantasy points per game allowed to wide receivers (third-least); with 5.5 fantasy points given up per game to tight ends (13th-leaast). Most recently, Andy Dalton managed 21/31 for 189 net yards passing, zero TDs and one interception thrown, with four sacks taken for -17 yards. This is one of the best pass defenses in the NFL folks. This is a tough matchup for Winston and company, even though they are in the friendly confines of Raymond James Stadium this weekend.

Buccaneers | Friday injury report for Bucs (Fri Sep 23, 07:57 PM) - Tampa Bay Buccaneers DE Robert Ayers (ankle), TE Luke Stocker (ankle), RB Doug Martin (hamstring) and WR Cecil Shorts (hamstring) have been ruled out for Week 3. Donovan Smith, Ryan Smith and David fully participated in practice. Our View: Charles Sims will get the start for Martin, and he is in line for feature back touches with only Jacquizz Rodgers to share touches. Sims is a great receiver out of the backfield, so he's a stronger play in PPR leagues, but an RB2 for Week 3 in every format, despite the tough matchup against the Rams.
