Week 14: at Tennessee Titans
All RB vs TEN
Mark and Joe say: Bad matchup. Kapri Bibbs was placed on I.R. due to a high ankle sprain on December 5, so this is now Devontae Booker's backfield. Justin Forsett (ex-Baltimore, ex-Detroit this year) is the backup entering Week 14. However, Forsett played for head coach Gary Kubiak during 2014 and may move into a more important role as soon as he has the current playbook memorized. Booker posted a mere 18/35/1 rushing at Jacksonville last week (with one target for 1/2/0 receiving) with Paxton Lynch under center in relief of Trevor Siemian. There isn't much juice for fantasy owners in this rushing attack right now.
The Titans gave up just 22/95/0 rushing to Chicago back in Week 12 (before their late Week 13 bye) - Tennessee is currently ranked sixth in the NFL averaging 92.3 rushing yards allowed per game, with just six rushing scores given out over 12 games (tied for third-least in the NFL). From Week 10 to Week 13 of regular season (the last four weeks, but includes 10 teams on byes during that time span - each team has at least three games played in the last four weeks), Tennessee averages 14.6 fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs per game (seventh-least in the NFL).
This is a bad matchup for the depleted Broncos' rushing attack.
