Week 11: at Arizona Cardinals

All WR vs ARI

FBG says: Neutral matchup. The Raiders passing offense is one of the toughest to watch in the league. Derek Carr has thrown for zero touchdowns in three of his last four games while getting pressured and sacked routinely behind a porous offensive line hampered by shoddy play from their tackles. The Raiders receivers simply cannot get separation in time for Carr to find them. No wide receiver in Oakland has exceeded 50 receiving yards since Week 5, as this passing game is predicated on quick looks to either Jared Cook or Jalen Richard. Cook had a few monstrous games earlier this year but has been rather inconsistent since his hot start. Richard has been the most consistent contributor in this passing offense as he has been the king of dump-offs, consistently hauling in at least four passes for 40 or more receiving yards in five straight games. It is not a recipe for success for the Raiders when facing a Cardinals team that owns the highest blitz rate with the sixth-most sacks in the league while Derek Carr has noticeably struggled under pressure this season. This Raiders offensive line has given up six or more sacks in three games this season and is tied for allowing the seventh-most sacks on the year. With Carr under duress and at least one of his receivers blanketed by Patrick Peterson, it appears this will be another uphill battle for the Raiders offense unless they can rely on their ground game. The one matchup to call out here will be that of Jared Cook, as the Cardinals have allowed given up at least four receptions and 45 yards to a tight end in five of nine games this season despite allowing just two touchdowns to the position in Weeks 1 and 2. Considering Carr will need to get rid of the ball quickly while avoiding Patrick Peterson, Cook could easily lead the team in targets for the second straight week.
