Week 4: vs Denver Broncos
All RB vs DEN
Mark and Joe say: Good matchup. Doug Martin is out due to a hamstring injury, leaving Charles Sims to carry the load while Martin gets healthy. Sims did this well during Week Three, handling 13/55/1 rushing with eight targets for 6/69/0 receiving, to go over 100 yards combined on the day. He is a very good, dual-threat back that is more than just a place-holder for Martin.
The Denver rush defense has been flawed so far this year, currently ranking 27th in the NFL averaging 127.7 rushing yards allowed per game, with four rushing scores handed over to the opposition. They are 13th in the NFL averaging 19.3 fantasy points allowed per game to opposing backs through three games - last week Cincinnati posted 29/143/2 rushing against the Broncos.
Sims has a good matchup to work with here, as strange as that sounds when we're talking about the once-feared Denver rush defense.
