Week 7: at Miami Dolphins

All WR vs MIA

FBG says: Good matchup. The Jets passing offense heading into 2017 was expected to be one of the worst in recent football history as they got rid of their top two receivers in Brandon Marshall and Eric Decker and lost their number three receiver Quincy Enunwa to a season-ending injury. The good news for the Jets is while they have not been great, they have been much better than expected as they are 22nd in overall passing this season at 213.5 yards per game. A big part of this is last week's game against New England where Josh McCown threw for 357 yards and acquired players Jermaine Kearse and Austin Sefarian-Jenkins have played a big role in this passing offense being adequate. The Dolphins passing defense has been their weakness so far this season as they have designed their defense at every level to stop the run. Miami on the season has allowed 235 yards passing per game, and those games have been against bottom ten passing offenses. The issue for the Dolphins is that their cornerbacks Xavien Howard, Byron Maxwell, and slot corner Bobby McCain continue to be an issue for the team. The Dolphins have also really struggled against the tight end position which could setup well for Austin Sefarian-Jenkins as they have allowed the sixth-most fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends so far this season.
