Week 12: vs Dallas Cowboys

Mark and Joe say: Neutral matchup. Eli Manning had one of his best games of the year at Dallas during Week 7, with zero interceptions thrown or sacks taken, and he ended the night with 21/33 for 248 yards passing and three TD passes. Unfortunately, since then things have gone downhill for the Giants' passing attack, with the disastrous five-interception debacle happening last week vs. San Francisco (22/45 for 280 yards passing, one TD and two sacks taken for -15 yards). The Giants' passing attack is mired in (another) funk entering this divisional game. Rueben Randle (15 targets for 7/112/0) had his first 100+ yards-receiving game of the year last week, though, and Odell Beckham Jr. posted 13 for 6/93/0. Larry Donnell did get back in the end-zone last week with six for 3/54/1, so it was not all bad for the Giants' receivers despite Manning's frequent misfires. The Dallas pass D is ranked 14th in the NFL averaging 239.8 net passing yards allowed per game, with 14 passing scores handed out to date vs. 10 interceptions and 16 sacks generated (10th- and 28th-ranked in the NFL, respectively). Blake Bortles posted 22/37 for 262 net yards, zero TDs and one interception thrown in London (while being sacked four times for -28 yards) while Carson Palmer threw 22/34 for 237 net yards, three TDs and one interception at Dallas the game prior - the Dallas secondary is a mediocre unit that does generate turnovers on a regular basis. Manning was a turnover machine last week, and the Dallas secondary goes for interceptions, but is vulnerable to the passing attack otherwise. On balance, this looks like a neutral matchup for the Giants.
