DT Jeremiah Ratliff - Chicago Bears

6-5, 278Born: 8-29-1981College: AuburnDrafted: Round 7

Main      Career stats      Game Logs      Latest News

Ratliff will turn 34 years old this year, so his best days are certainly behind him but he showed that he could still get after the QB a bit with 6.5 sacks in 2014. The Bears will move to a 3-4 front under new coordinator Vic Fangio, and that is a defense that Ratliff is familiar with from his time with the Cowboys. He'll likely be spelled by rookie Eddie Goldman, but could be a decent DT2 if he is able to stay healthy. Unfortunately, he'll need to wait until week 4 to contribute as he was hit with a 3-game suspension that stemmed from a DWI arrest. (August 24)

Our View: Even without Jordy Nelson and maybe Randall Cobb in Week 1, Eddie Lacy and the Packers should have a field day with this Bears defense in Week 1.
