Quick fantasy outlook: Over the last decade plus, highlight reels and TV commercials featuring Troy Polamalu have made him one of the leagues high profile players. He is a player with the ability to change a game with big plays and is an important cog in the success of the Steelers zone blitz scheme. On the other hand, most of the plays on Polamalu's highlight reel are from games long past. His most recent seasons have been filled with injury struggles and average production. Since 2005 Polamalu has recorded over 60 solo tackles just once. He has played a full sixteen game schedule just once in the last four seasons. That year (2010) Polamalu totaled just 2 interceptions with 1 sack and 1 forced fumble. He may be worthy as depth in twelve team leagues that start three defensive backs, or in deep leagues that break out the DB positions and require two safeties.
