Pinner got one carry in the game. In the fourth quarter, on a third and one from the Carolina 26 yard line, Pinner lost three yards.

Pinner was given two carries after the Vikings reached the Patriots' ten yard line on their second drive. He gained a total of five yards and did not touch the ball for the remainder of the game.

Pinner only had six carries the entire year coming into this game, but had three consecutive carries for 29 yards in the fourth quarter in relief of Chester Taylor. Pinner did not get any more carries in the game.

Pinner's biggest impact in the game was an illegal block to the back that nullified a 105 kick return by Bethel Johnson to start the second half. He also had an offside penalty on an onside kick that the Vikings recovered at the end of the game. The Vikings were unsuccessful on there second onside attempt.
2006 Week 14 vs DET (29 / 125 / 3 rush, 3 / 2 / 15 / 0 rec)
Pinner had the best game of his career as he got the majority of carries in place of injured starter Chester Taylor. He took full advantage of the opportunity and had a big first half gaining 105 yards and scoring two touchdowns. On the Vikings first drive of the game, Pinner got five carries for 17 yards, including a three yard touchdown run. On Minnesota's second drive, he had a very nice 21 yard run to inside the Lions' five yard line to set up his second touchdown. On the next play of the game, he scored on a four yard run. Pinner did have a costly fumble late in the second quarter when the Vikings were driving the ball again. Pinner only had 20 yards in the second half but, he got his third touchdown of the game on a one yard run early in the fourth quarter. The Vikings' offensive line dominated the line of scrimmage and opened big holes for Pinner.

Despite his big production last week, Pinner had just one carry for four yards in the second quarter and zero targets in the passing game.

In the first quarter, Pinner came in for Kevin Jones for two plays after Jones had been poked in the eye and ran for seven yards and a first down and then made a two yard gain on a lateral catch. He had an eleven yard carry in the third quarter.

Pinner looked good on his touches, and he seemed to do more than just spell starter Kevin Jones. He was more efficient on his rushes, although the defense didn't seem to focus on him as much as Kevin Jones.

Pinner made a 13 yard screen catch in the second quarter. He was used minimally in the rushing game and added seven yards on his four carries.
2005 Week 7 vs CLE (7 / 24 / 0 rush, 1 / 1 / 22 / 0 rec)
Pinner saw seven carries in this game, but none more important than the three which he received in the final 1:18 of the game when the Browns had three timeouts and the Lions pinned back in their own territory. It was Pinner in the game at this point, and he gained three, six and two yards to give the Lions the first down and to seal the victory.
2005 Week 8 vs CHI (2 / 8 / 0 rush, 1 / 1 / 10 / 0 rec)
Pinner made his first carry during the first quarter, and gained two yards on a run. He had an additional run of six yards in the third quarter, following a ten yard screen catch.
2005 Week 9 vs MIN (6 / 11 / 1 rush, 3 / 2 / 26 / 0 rec)
Pinner received more playing time with the injury to Kevin Jones early in the game. He was ineffective on the ground with just 11 yards on three carries but did manage a short touchdown run. Pinner added 26 yards receiving on two catches including a 24 yard gain that set up Pollard's touchdown. He scored on a short one yard run off right guard to put Detroit on the board.

Pinner saw all of his seven carries in the fourth quarter, including a pair of red zone touches, but did not cross the stripe.

Pinner saw his first and only carry in the second quarter.

Pinner entered the game late in the third quarter. His first carry picked up a first down off right guard. He followed that up with a nice one handed catch for four yards in the right flat. Pinner had one other series late in the game. He had his second carry and second reception on that drive.
2005 Week 13 vs MIN (14 / 64 / 1 rush, 4 / 3 / 39 / 0 rec)
Pinner and Bryson split carries in place of the injured Kevin Jones. Pinner was the more effective back on this Sunday with 64 yards on 14 carries and a touchdown. He also contributed three catches for 39 yards.
2005 Week 14 vs GB (13 / 25 / 0 rush, 3 / 3 / 8 / 0 rec)
Pinner shared some of the goal line carries with Bryson when Jones left the game, but they both found it difficult to get past the Packers' defensive line. He finished the night with only 25 yards on 13 carries. He did catch all three passes thrown his way, but only gained eight yards.
2005 Week 15 vs CIN (15 / 55 / 0 rush, 3 / 3 / 18 / 0 rec)
Pinner filled in for the injured Kevin Jones (elbow) and ran hard against a strong Bengal front seven. He had 55 yards on 15 carries and three catches for another 18 yards. With the Lions unable to consistently sustain drives and their knack for falling behind early the running game is not a factor.
2005 Week 16 vs NO (20 / 57 / 0 rush, 4 / 4 / 31 / 0 rec)
Pinner led the Lions in rushing with 57 yards on 20 carries. He also caught the four balls thrown his way for another 31 yards of offense.
