WR Tab Perry - Free Agent
|6-3, 220||Born: 1-20-1982||College: UCLA||Drafted: Round 6, pick|
2007 Week 1 vs BAL (4 / 0 / 0 / 0 rec)
Perry did not have a reception, though all four of his targets came on third down plays. Perry fumbled on the final play of the first half (kickoff), but the turnover did not hurt the team since the clock ran out.
2006 Week 1 vs KC (2 / 2 / 44 / 0 rec)
Perry, alongside Chris Henry and Kelly Washington, tried to make up for the loss of T.J. Houshmandzadeh, with decent results. Perry was the best of the lot, snagging his only two targets for a total of 44 yards.
2006 Week 2 vs CLE (4 / 3 / 37 / 0 rec, 2 / 4 / 0 rush)
In addition to his kick return duties, Perry saw some time in four wide receiver sets.
2005 Week 2 vs MIN (1 / 1 / 13 / 0 rec)
Perry was not a fantasy factor.
2005 Week 6 vs TEN (0 / 0 / 0 / 0 rec, 1 / 7 / 0 rush)
Perry did not have a role in the offense and saw most of his playing time on special teams returning kickoffs. Perry did have one carry for seven yards in the game.
2005 Week 9 vs BAL (1 / 1 / 8 / 1 rec)
Perry's only catch was for a touchdown. Perry began the play in the backfield, and caught a shovel pass from Carson Palmer at the line of scrimmage. He was able to navigate through a maze of defenders into the end zone. Perry handles kickoff returns as well, and fumbled on one of them after a vicious hit from Chester Taylor. Luckily for Perry, he was able to recover the ball after the fumble.
2005 Week 16 vs BUF (0 / 0 / 0 / 0 rec, 1 / 2 / 1 rush)
Perry was used to return kicks as usual, but he made an unexpected contribution on offense. He carried the ball for only the second time this season, taking a toss from Palmer two yards into the end zone for the Bengals' opening score.
2005 Week 17 vs KC (2 / 2 / 0 / 0 rec, 1 / 0 / 0 rush)
Perry was unproductive as a receiver, but he may have been one of the brighter performers for the Bengals. He was fairly reliable as a good kickoff returner. With all of the kickoffs made by the Chiefs, Perry successfully converted several opportunities into good gains.
