Patrick was targeted once near the end of the 2nd quarter, but did not see many snaps on offense.
2018 Week 2 vs OAK (2 / 1 / 26 / 0 rec)
Patrick made a fantastic catch on a back shoulder route in the corner of the end zone in the 3rd quarter to put the Broncos on the scoreboard, but the play was overturned after a challenge from the Raiders. He redeemed himself at the end of the game, catching a curl route and juking his defender for a big gain that set up the game winning field goal on the next play.
2018 Week 5 vs NYJ (1 / 1 / 6 / 0 rec)
Patrick saw very limited snaps and 1 target, a shallow crossing route for a short gain late in the 1st quarter.
2018 Week 8 vs KC (1 / 1 / 24 / 1 rec, 1 / 13 / 0 rush)
Patrick saw limited snaps in the receiver rotation behind Sanders, Thomas, and Sutton. Patrick carried an end-around up the left sideline for a 13 yard gain in the 1st quarter. He scored at the end of the 1st half when a KC safety blew his coverage and left Patrick wide open in the back corner of the end zone.
2018 Week 9 vs HOU (4 / 1 / 17 / 0 rec)
Patrick mixed in with Sanders and Sutton in 3WR sets. He couldn't get anything going until late in the 4th quarter when he hauled in a post route for a 17 yard gain, extending the Broncos final drive that would end with a missed field goal.
2018 Week 11 vs LAC (1 / 0 / 0 / 0 rec)
Patrick worked into the receiver rotation after Hamilton left in the 2nd quarter with a knee injury. He had a short reception on a curl route in the 4th quarter, but he was called for offensive pass interference.
2018 Week 14 vs SF (10 / 7 / 85 / 0 rec, 1 / 11 / 0 rush)
It was Patrick, not Sutton, who picked up the slack after the Broncos lost Emmanuel Sanders to an Achilles injury last week. Patrick led the team in targets and yards. He hauled in an out route for a nice gain in the 2nd quarter. Keenum found him again on a deep comeback route down the left sideline for a first down in the 3rd quarter. The highlight of Patrick's day was a 20 yard corner route that converted 4th and 2 in the 3rd quarter. Patrick was pushed out of bounds just shy of the 2 yard line on the play. Patrick made a beautiful toe-tapping reception on the right sideline to convert 4th and long at the end of the 4th quarter. Patrick carried the ball once on an end-around in the 2nd quarter that picked up a first down and some extra yardage after a defender hit him late on the play.
2018 Week 15 vs CLE (8 / 5 / 65 / 0 rec)
Patrick led the team in receiving yard again for the second week in a row since Emmanuel Sanders' injury. Patrick lined up wide right and caught a quick curl with room to run in the 1st quarter. He followed it up with a beautiful back shoulder catch up the right sideline on the next play for a 15 yard gain. Keenum hit him on a short crossing route in the 2nd quarter for a minimal gain. Patrick had a bad drop near the end of the 1st half. His biggest play of the day was a shallow crossing route from the left WR spot that he broke up the right sideline for a 24 yard gain early in the 2nd half. Patrick caught a curl route and shook off a tackler for another nice gain later in the 3rd.
2018 Week 16 vs OAK (5 / 3 / 44 / 0 rec, 1 / -7 / 0 rush)
Patrick worked the outside receiver positions with Sutton, while Hamilton held down most of the slot duties. Patrick took a bit of a backseat to a healthier Sutton in this one. He took a hard hit from safety Karl Joseph on his first target, a deep post that was knocked to the turf in the 1st quarter. Keenum loaded up a deep ball down the right sideline in the 3rd quarter, and Patrick made a beautiful leaping grab over his defender. Patrick caught a back shoulder throw up the right sideline for a solid gain in the 4th quarter. Keenum found him again on an out route on the following play. Patrick carried the ball once on a jet sweep that was snuffed out in the backfield for a loss in the 1st quarter.
2018 Week 17 vs LAC (7 / 4 / 48 / 0 rec)
Patrick made a tough catch on the right sideline and shook off a couple of tackle attempts for a nice gain in the 2nd quarter. Keenum found Patrick for another big gain on a play-action deep route late in the 2nd quarter. Patrick made an impressive leaping catch over two defenders on a big seam route in the 3rd quarter. Patrick lost a fumble inside Denver's own red zone in the 3rd quarter when a defender ripped the ball out of his hands at the end of a catch. He also had a bad drop on a skinny post route that hit him right in the hands later in the 3rd. Patrick finished just a yard behind Hamilton for the team lead in yards.
