Quick fantasy outlook: Nugent missed the final four games last year with a calf injury, and was subsequently spelled very effectively by veteran Josh Brown. Both were set to become free agents and the Bengals opted to re-sign Nugent. Nugent's best recent season, and only complete one, was 2011. His 86.8% field goal percentage was the second highest of his career and his 132 points were the most. Despite a decent number of field goal attempts the past two years, only two came from 50+ yards. He made one of those. The Bengals also re-signed their other two specialists in March. Clark Harris is back at long snapper and Kevin Huber as punter/holder. Completing the carryover, the key coaching staff members remain intact from last year. The Bengals have steadily improved in kicker scoring opportunities the past five years, from 31st, 21st, 18th, 11th, up to 9th last year.
