Week 12: vs Baltimore Ravens
Mark and Joe say: Good matchup. Drew Brees has not been able to get his team over the hump of late, with a narrow 24-27 loss to San Francisco (in which he threw 28/47 for 292 yards passing, three TDs and two interceptions thrown, with two sacks for -5 yards taken) and then a blowout loss to the Bengals last week (33/41 for 255 yards passing, one TD and zero interceptions thrown, with zero sacks taken). Unfortunately, rookie sensation Brandin Cooks broke his thumb last week and is out indefinitely (but definitely out for this game), leaving Jimmy Graham (seven targets for 7/30/0 receiving last week vs. Cincinnati), Marques Colston (eight for 7/30/0 receiving) and Kenny Stills (four for 4/32/1) to cover for Cooks while he rehabs his hand. The Ravens' pass D is ranked 21st in the NFL averaging 251.2 net passing yards allowed per game, with 14 passing scores given out vs. six interceptions and 25 sacks (tied for 11th in the NFL) generated. They coughed up 16/27 for 143 net yards passing, one TD and one interception, with five sacks for -36 yards of Tennessee's Zach Mettenburger two weeks ago, and allowed a whoppping six TD passes and 25/37 for 321 net yards passing, zero interceptions and three sacks for -19 yards generated to Ben Roethlisberger and company during Week 9. This is not one of the premier NFL pass defenses, friends. Advantage, Brees and the home team.

2014 Week 11 vs CIN (1 / 1 / 7 / 0 rec)
Morgan finally got involved for the Saints as the talented young player caught an out-route for a modest gain of seven yards. Cooks' injury potentially opens the door for Morgan to get more opportunities over the next month.
Latest NewsSaints | Two Saints WRs could see more time (Mon Nov 17, 02:34 PM) - New Orleans Saints WRs Robert Meachem and Joe Morgan will likely be asked to play more with WR Brandin Cooks (thumb) out for an extended period. Our View: Neither player has a ton of fantasy upside. We like Kenny Stills here with Cooks done for about a month. Stills is likely to have a much bigger role in the offense.
