Week 4: vs Dallas Cowboys

All WR vs DAL

Mark and Joe say: Neutral matchup. The Saints may get Drew Brees back this week - Brees (shoulder) had a successful throwing session on Tuesday and will resume practicing on Wednesday. Through two games played this year he's posted 54/86 for 610 yards passing, two TDs and two interceptions thrown. If Brees can't go due to a setback, Luke McCown was pretty good in as a relief pitcher with 31/38 for 310 yards passing, zero TDs and one interception thrown at Carolina last week. McCown spread the ball around efficiently, with five different receivers hauling in four or more receptions - either way, the Saint's passing attack is in good hands entering Week Four. Stay tuned to's Players in the News this week to see which signal caller will get under center in this prime-time game. The Cowboys' pass D was lit up for 24/36 yielding 285 yards passing with two TDs given up vs. zero interceptions generated against Matt Ryan last week. Two weeks ago, Sam Bradford and company managed 23/37 for 219 net yards, one passing score and two interceptions in a loss to Dallas. So far this year, this unit is ranked 13th in the NFL averaging 229.7 net passing yards allowed per game, with three passing scores given up vs. two interceptions generated (tied for 17th in the NFL) and just three sacks to Dallas' credit (tied for 29th). Dallas is mediocre, while the Saints are capable of high-flying games, but they have been disappointing at home for many games now - on balance, this looks like a neutral matchup.
