Week 13: vs San Francisco 49ers

All TE vs SF

Mark and Joe say: Good matchup. Chicago was not shy about having Matt Barkley throw the football last week - he tossed it 54 times en route to 28/54 for 316 yards passing, three TDs and two interceptions vs. Tennessee (zero sacks taken). Though Barkley tried to involve Cameron Meredith (nine targets for 2/19/0 receiving), he ended up relying on Marquess Wilson (11 targets for 8/125/1 receiving) and Deonte Thompson (nine for 5/44/1) the most, while also throwing Joshua Bellamy the ball nine times for 4/41/0. The Bears' passing attack may be better off than we thought, friends. We'll see if Barkley can keep up the frenetic pace here in Week 13. The 49ers' pass defense allowed 20/30 for 263 net passing yards, three TDs and zero interceptions (with two sacks generated for -22 yards) to Ryan Tannehill and company last weekend, continuing to be a pushover in this phase of the game. From Week Nine to Week 12 of the 2016 season (over the last four weeks, but includes 14 teams on bye during that time span - each team has at least three games played in the last four weeks), San Francisco has averaged 27.8 fantasy points allowed per game to opposing quarterbacks (most in the NFL); and 32.8 fantasy points per game allowed to wide receivers (third-most in the league); with 6.5 fantasy points given up per game to tight ends (seventh-most). Barkley comes into this game in better shape than expected, while the 49ers are their usual inept selves on defense - advantage, Chicago.
